Unvale is a great art-sharing platform for me. I like how you can have a community and stuff, but the only problem is the OC sharing. I keep my OCs private because I want them to stay between my friends and me, but sharing private OCs is impossible. I tried sharing the URL to the OC, but all my friends say they only see the placeholder image. You guys should add a feature for sharing private OCs that doesn't require all this extra work, like letting us include the usernames of the people we want to share the OC with while keeping it private.

Hi ICEE, This is a great idea! It sounds like you want a space for just you and your friends to share work that functions differently from the private pages. Private pages should be viewable via a direct URL! It's possible they work on the web and are having difficulty with the app? We will continue to work on improving! Love it! Some issues though.
While I love Unvale and use the website version on my computer, I wanted easier access so I got the app. It’s very clean and easy to understand however for some reason none of my likes/follows or notifications have been working. I click them and they either don’t load or deselect the choice I made. Not sure if this is a problem on my end as I have an older phone but I really want to use the app, and everything else seems to work fine 😫🙏.

Sometimes notifications can be a little slow on older devices if you have a lot of them! Really appreciate your support and hopefully we can revamp notifs and make the experience better.

I first came to this because my story was stolen and put on this app, but the team has been GREAT with working with me and taking it down.
Other than that, Unvale pushes out new artists and is a great place to start! I got more likes on a character in one day than my character on another site did in one day!

A great resource, hard to use.
I literally can’t post anything without using the website instead, which is super glitchy itself. But it’s a strong concept! As someone who constantly forgets their own ocs, it’s a great tool!! Just a little rough around the edges…

Awesome Artist App
I joined UnVale before the app released, and I think for what it is, it’s great! The developers /admin are super community focused and the way they structure the algorithm to push new submissions and updated old profiles so everyone has a chance of being noticed is amazing!
The app revolves around the character profiles. There’s not much encouragement to interact with the writing or posting aspects. There is also not much encouragement to follow creators, with the focus on favoriting content. There is no immediate “follow” option when viewing submissions, so it creates an “out of sight, out of mind” forgetfulness that results in a massive amount of favorites but minimal continual growth.
I hope the decorative features for OCs (backgrounds, Spotify embeds, etc) on the desktop version is translated to the app soon. I’d love to see more profile customizations as well!

best app ever?
1) ive been having art block for MONTHS and i cant draw anything that looks good - then i downloaded unvale and like it gave me so much inspiration and motivation that i was able to draw smth!!
2) everyone is friendly, ive seen NO toxic people on the platform!!
3) has these daily things which help you understand your oc or give you lil prompts to draw if you want!!

I HIGHLY recommend this app
It is easy & free to set up an account, it’s fun and simple to use, it has a great community, AND it is anti AI images! Ive been on unvale for half a year and I love it. The team at unvale are great. (Ty you unvale team :3) I started drawing more and drawing digital art because of this website/app. Some features are still only available on the website but they are probably going to be added at some time, and the app is still great even without these features! So if you like drawing, writing, character making, or just art in general then this app is for you!

Good! Fun! But very glitchy, I can’t post a post on phone as the keyboard blocks the post button and writing on laptop is hard for me personally as I can only write on the title and not where the writing is SUPPOSED TO BE DONE. Though not perfect…I still love how innovative and creative the app is! I especially love the question of the day and the daily doodle prompt AND the blog posts I see! Those are awesome and I can’t wait for new features to be added on phone like writing and worlds!

This app is incredible & is definitely the 2nd in my top 3 favorite art apps/websites but there’s not a whole lot to do on it besides post your art & like others..it’d be cooler if there were events or art live streams to watch.

Very nice community too!
I like the Unvale app! It’s more convenient and less laggy than the website (at least for me). Also, I like how notifications are bunched up together instead of separate. Like, if I get 10 likes on a character, instead of getting 10 notifications I get one! I don’t clear notifs a lot so I’m glad that’s a thing!

I’m finally old enough to make an account!! Nearly every art ytber I’ve watched has promoted the app— but at the time it was only a website, so I couldn’t make an account (was also too young) and now that I have it, I can wholeheartedly day I absolutely LOVE this app! The ppl on here are so wholesome. I never thought I’d really have social media, but this is the best!! Rq though, is there a video feature?? To post things like speedpaints or animations? If not, you should definitely look into adding it!!

Such a fantastic app for a great site! I’ve used and loved the site, and the addition of the app version is something I’ve been wishing for! The site is a great place to develop OCs as well as interact with other creators! The app itself is very easy to navigate and accessible. I recommend it x10000!
