UPES was formed in 2003 with a goal to provide various specialised programs that meet the needs of India’s higher education sector. We have an esteemed reputation for providing students with the best academic expertise, which is combined with a vast swath of disciplines, which focus on promising areas that exhibit higher growth. The courses offered at UPES are designed to hone the skills of students by providing them with global exposure and hands-on expertise. UPES was established to provide customised, industry aligned programs with the goal of developing a strong talent pool for India’s growth needs. This has since evolved to meet the global talent needs of leading MNCs across the globe. The university achieves a sense of pride in endowing students with specialised and exclusive certifications in petroleum engineering and energy systems as well. UPES, accredited by NAAC and recognised by UGC, assures credibility to the students and their parents. Our high-quality campus, spread over 44 acres in Dehradun, is dedicated to meeting the ever-changing needs of students and offer a quality level of education. Our faculty of over 500 members has been selected from world-renowned institutes for our students to give them some much-needed global exposure. The collaborations present are in the form of joint seminars, faculty exchange programs, joint research, review of various PhD theses, and a mutually-beneficial exchange of scientific publications.
