One of a kind platform
This platform is evolving and is positioned to be a leader in this space. Getting ready for a relationship has never been easier.
Matching that requires effort
I love the concept of this app. My go to his Hinge, and one thing apps like that ignore is that people come to new relationships with a lot of baggage and sometimes unresolved problems. Upfront acknowledge this reality and provides tools and guidance to help you start to fix them. So rather than fill out a form and start swiping, you fill out a form and start working on yourself. The time and effort you put into the pre-matching stage is worth it!

Put Yourself First
Unlike any other app you may have used to meet a partner, Upfront begins with you. Before you get to be matched with other singles, you have to complete a minimum amount of self reflection and development. The key benefit of this is that you learn yourself more. Another benefit is that anyone who you match with has also done a good amount of self work. Not only does this make your matches better, but it filters out the people who aren’t able to be or aren’t interested in being…upfront. This app is unique and the programming that the team has assembled with you will change how you view yourself and relationships.

Ugh
This app needs work. I can’t even remove my information if I don’t want the $33 p month subscription. So frustrating!
Phenomenal but Difficult
I downloaded the app after a referral from a friend. So tired of the swipe left or right dating apps that are just a cover for a booty call.
After finishing the profile part, I began the assessment. Although the app and concept are phenomenal, the assessment is difficult. It really makes you take a hard look at yourself and your past relationships-what you want, who you are at this stage of your life, what went wrong, what went right, etc. Wow! Facing myself honestly is the hardest thing I’ve had to do in a long time.
I’m looking forward to finishing the assessment stage and working with Langton or Zora as I navigate this relationship app.
If you’re looking for an app that focuses on real lasting relationships, take the time to download, subscribe and do the work! It’s definitely worth it!

This hits different
I’ve been on several dating apps and this not like anything I’ve seen before. From the jump, your profile development feels way more intentional. Even down to the picture selection. No thirst traps allowed. You have to keep it “Professionally Elegant” which I thought was a nice touch. Then you have to answer questions that I’ve never been asked before. The assessment gets deep so be ready to be honest.
The AI advisors, Langston and Zora (I chose Langston) were extremely well thought out. It didn’t feel like an out of the box chat bot.
I did have a problem with the assessment getting stuck at first, and had to submit a support ticket. But the support team was extremely responsive and even offered to put me on the phone with the founder just to make sure I was getting what I needed to get back in the game. I understand that any new app is going to have its bugs but I appreciated that they were extremely communicative.
Overall, my readiness score is climbing towards the 85% requirement and the activities and content are helping me discover things about myself that I never would have on a regular dating app. I look forward to making it to the connection district and meeting someone just as intentional about relationship and hopefully marriage as I am.

Potential
So I was excited when I first heard about the app, and even signed up to be alerted via email when they launched, so once I knew they launched I was excited to download, once downloaded you spend about 30-45 mins doing an in depth assessment, asking various dating questions. So it seemed to be going well, then after you answer all the questions they give you a readiness score, I scored low, then they have healing actives you complete in order to work on the thing you answered low on the assessment and to raise your readiness score. You need to reach an 85 readiness score to see your matches, the problem is there are only a few activities, and once you complete them, there’s no more activities, so your stuck at a certain readiness score and will not reach the required 85. So I was excited but since you will not be able to reach the score, it was kind of a waste, the activities were helpful but couldn’t see any matches. If anyone actually reached the 85 please let me know, but I’m not sure if the app is designed for you to reach 85 or if they want you to pay monthly so you can see if they added new activities.
