Every bird now has its own mark, and import got a lot better because twenty seasons went through it and told us what was wrong. YOUR BIRDS, DRAWN Dove, pheasant, quail, grouse and chukar each have their own silhouette now, in place of the stand-in symbols. You can tell a dove hunt from a pheasant hunt at a glance down the list. IMPORT NOW FILLS GAPS INSTEAD OF IGNORING YOU Correct your spreadsheet and import it again. Blank fields get filled in, nothing doubles up, and anything that disagrees with what you already have is put in front of you to settle rather than decided for you. IT TELLS YOU WHAT IT DID Every import now ends with a report: what was added, what was updated, what you already had, and anything it could not read, listed by row number with the reason. Fix that row and import again. SEASONS FROM YOUR OWN FILE If your file names the birds you chase, Uplander offers to start tracking a season for each one. SPOTS WITHOUT A PIN A place you know by name but have never pinned no longer looks like it went missing. It is marked as having no pin, and you can give it one any time from the spot itself. RENAMING A SPOT STAYS A RENAME Rename a spot and a later import of the same file still knows it is the same place, instead of making a second one. SMALLER THINGS Your gun and the day's conditions now show on the hunt row. Deleting everything now takes a press and hold, so it cannot happen by a stray tap.
