Not good. Hardware hates eero networks
This app is missing so many features that would make it better. For example:
1. Needs a global setting change option
2. Needs ability to type a set template instead of just a temperamental slider
3. Trends graph should show data values when you touch it, like a stock market graph
4. Trends graph needs options for horizontal lines
5. Why are you trying to also be a weather app? Allow unnecessary info widgets to be removed from Home Screen
6. Allow font size changes. Even in the iPad the most important info is often small and gray unless you look room by room. Especially in the view that stacks the rooms on the left
It does appear the responsiveness has improved as previously the ‘back’ touch area was either isolated or insensitive

Does the job
Simple app that enables me to monitor my heating from anywhere. UFH can be complicated and if not configured correctly can be costly, the app itself allows for setting of room temps and in my property, a circa 1800 stone built house, has no issues communicating with the numerous stats over the three zones I have. Setup of ECO setback profiles is simple, and works flawlessly on my system. The only things I think could be improved are the statistics and reporting, you can only see data for the past few days, it would be great to see data going back over a year to help understand how the system is performing over time, if not in the app, on an online web portal provided by Uponor.

Unbelievable
Without doubt the worst home heating related app I have ever used. Any normal app would allow you to set what time you wanted to put something on and then when you want it off. It would also allow you to set the target temperature for the period it is on. This app switches that around with the concept of eco mode (instead of off!) and then a setback level for all thermostats. Changing temperature settings is so fiddly it is insane. The developers need sacking and a completely new team given total freedom to rewrite it and rewrite the documentation that comes with the thermostats and control unit to ensure the language is corrected throughout. Unbelievably bad app. AND you can only store profiles that have rooms against them! Take away the room associated with it because you want to use a different profile because the weather is different and the room-less profile gets reset! Rubbish

Doesn’t appear to be a way to adjust the setpoint on a timer basis
App doesn’t integrate well with Apple keychain

Generally good, trend charts could be better
Being able to control and monitor our heating system is a major step forward from the previous (Uponor) control system we had.
A few improvements would be nice:
• Eco settings are useful but tricky to use - they are in two separate parts of the app
• would be nice if the trendlines showed target temperatures based on Eco modes - at the moment it looks like the system is not maintaining the correct temperature until you realize there is a hidden eco setback in effect.
• it would be nice if the trendlines showed when heating/cooling was taking place, so I could see how much of the temperature change is due to solar gain, naturally cooling at night, etc

Ok but needs more functionality
The app works ok to control the Smatrix pulse system.
There are a few improvements that could be made
1. Add an override button to simply turn the system on or off until the next scheduled change
2. Add heating demand on and off to the trends so you know when heating is being demanded.
3. Include outdoor temperatures in the trends
4. Make the trend graphs larger, maybe by clicking on each one. And show a greater amount of detail.

Very glitchy and poorly developed
Have to agree with the majority of the other users. Many faults and the developers/owners do not seen to me bothered that ther product is poor quality.
Not the best
Disconnects from the Wi-Fi and I have had to re input all the room names etc after reconnecting.
Also impossible to connect to Alexa although it is supposed to connect.
When is Uponor going to update and fix these issues.

It would be nice if Uponor could dedicate some effort to this app which is unfortunately a little underwhelming.
The Smatrix system itself is cleanly designed and seems to work well, this app is unfortunately the weak link.
There are rare crashes from the app in my experience but any at all is unacceptable I think.
Connection to the cloud hinders the usability of the app because I’m displayed with a loading screen until some information is exchanged with a remote server which is not fast. This is architecturally poor, let me go in and make my configuration updates and synchronise in the background.
For a heating control company it’s disappointing that the heating control sliders are imprecise and glitchy, this is frustrating UI, please study better apps like tado. The eco setback is a somewhat annoying way to set different temperatures on a schedule and is unnecessarily restrictive and clumsy. I’d just like to be able to set a temperature at different time points and also be able to copy and paste to different days of the week.
I also expect more advanced features like geofencing support and being able to tell the system to preempt warmup times so when I arrive home a target temperature is met and also when I set a target temperature in the schedule it preheats.
I also expect some Siri integration to be able to make use of the apple ecosystem. I believe apple makes this available with some simple API calls.
It would be nice to see Uponor give this app some attention. I think the system is good and nearly perfect but this app is not the best endorsement of the sophisticated control system underneath.

Don’t waste your money
Reading mDebbies review was like they had read my mind, unstable, uncontrollable and a rip off. Don’t touch this with a barge pole
Buggy and useless
I can get the app to connect locally (ie just within my home wifi network) but won’t connect to the Uponor Cloud (to access full features). Just gives continual connection errors.

Awful
When our Wi-fi goes off and comes back on again the app says it can’t connect, logged out, tried to log back in, says my username/password is incorrect, tried to do password reset, can’t see what email address I’m typing because keyboard sits over the top, even when I did have access, it loses one of the eco profiles every day, this is the upstairs of the house, very annoying to wake up in the middle of the night, sweating buckets, listening to the boiler burning oil unnecessarily, the other eco profile drops a couple of rooms regularly, when you override a room temperature because you’re a little hot or cold, that doom stays at that temp even when the eco profile has kicked in, the temperature for individual rooms randomly changes, last night 3 of my rooms were set to 30c which I defo didn’t do, some rooms randomly become set at 5c, clearly annoying at this time of year, all of this means I’m constantly adjusting the temperature manually, not even on the app now because I can’t login, can’t think of anything the app does that actually works, regretting spends £000s on ripping out our radiators and retrofitting the Uponor system, all because it isn’t controllable
