Upshot Game Day

Upshot is the game-day app for any basketball game that is not on TV: youth, high school, rec and adult leagues, tournaments and pickup runs. A coach, a parent or a scorekeeper keeps score from the sideline in a few taps. Everyone follows along: the live score, the schedule, and each player's stats, all in one place. Basketball first. FOR COACHES AND SCOREKEEPERS - Score a game by picking a player and tapping what happened: baskets, rebounds, assists, steals, fouls, substitutions - Undo any play with one tap, with no pop-ups in the middle of the game - Works without wifi. Everything is saved on your phone first and syncs the moment you are back online, so a game is never lost - Keeps the game clock and a warning if it is not running - Roster, practice and game schedule, and who can do what on your team FOR FAMILIES AND FANS - Join your child's team with a team code; the coach approves each request - See the schedule, with the place, time and notes, and add it to your phone's calendar - Follow the live score and the box score - Tournaments show up as one card with every game inside - Notifications when the schedule changes (you choose which kinds) FOR LEAGUES - Publish schedules to every team from one place, and share gym details and closed dates - Teams keep their own notes on top PRIVATE BY DEFAULT Many games in Upshot involve children, so we built for that from the start. Nothing is public: no public profiles, no public video, no public links. By default a family sees their own player's stats, and a team can choose to share more. There are no ads, and we never sell personal information. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time. Upshot is free during our pilot with local teams.
