Trash app, with even more trash lag. It would be a good app if you mooks would actually listen to your reviews. Fix the lag and constant glitching, clowns.
Don’t waste your time
Love the time clock, the app is a total waste of time. Scanning feature does not work at all. You can manually add up your time cards far faster than entering them into the app. I’m surprised they use it as a selling point.
Nice idea if it would work
The punch system that you purchase works great. The app.. not so much. I have tried multiple times to scan in the time cards and got it to work correctly once.
Poor Execution
UI/UX is not bad. However, app is ruined by bad load times and unusable scanning software. It provides no edge whatsoever and makes the process harder, not easier. Extremely disappointed.

Very slow when changing from screen to screen. When you scan the time card it doesn’t even put them in the correct dates.

Do not buy based on this app
I bought the time clock based on the fact there was an app and a cloud that goes along with it. The app is absolutely horrible, it crashes, gives errors, is very slow, and does calculate the time correctly. PLEASE DO NOT PURCHASE THIS CLOCK BASED ON THE FACT THERE IS AN APP THAT GOES WITH IT. The clock alone works great, easy to use and easy to set up but the app isn’t worth the time I spent downloading or on online chat with IT which did not help any at all. Then later got an email saying my problem was resolved. Well it’s not, I’m still computing time by hand, not just using a different time card…….

Product Good, App is Terrible
Loading screens on the app are way too long. Using the scanner uploads corrupt information. There is no time saved using the app. Better off calculating by hand it would be much faster.
Great idea to use the app, but possibly the worst execution I’ve ever seen using an app, and I have experience using apps day-to-day for business.
If you’re like me and bought this product because the app was a good selling point, do not buy this product. Hopefully there will be updates to fix the app. But as it stands this is the worst app I’ve ever used.

I have regrets
The app is incredibly slow and doesn’t save 85% of the time. I’ve stopped using the app and calculate by hand now because it’s just that frustrating to use.
UPunch scanning is terrible!
The app seems to get stuck on step where after you scan the time card it’s supposed to calculate the hours. Never completes task to move to the next step. I thought buying this time clock and system would make payroll easier. Not so! Do not recommend!!!!
Worst App
I purchased the Upunch model FN1000 because of the ease of scanning time cards and it calculating the time. I should’ve spent the money on the calculating time clock instead because this app is a joke and I feel I’ve wasted money.

The concept behind this app and associated time clock is great. — physical time cards that can be quickly scanned to capture pay data.

Although the developer has made vast improvements in the scanning portion of the app (it now works almost 50% of the time), everything else in the app rarely works as expected - moving from screen to screen in the Ui usually takes 60 seconds or more, saving works less than 10% of the time and data is often corrupted after it’s saved.
Do yourself a favor. — return the time clock if still can and find some other solution. This app will not

Too slow and buggy to be practical.
I’ve tried to be patient for updates to fix the issues with this app. But after 7 months of using the app there’s not much of a difference.
The save feature is still unpredictable. Every action made can take up to 20 seconds to process. So if you have to manually enter in times be prepared to waste a lot of your time.
The straw that broke my camel’s back was when I successfully scanned one of my employee’s time cards, then came in the next day to see that only half of the punches were saved. I can’t risk my employee’s trust on this thing. 10-key entry with Excel will be a better, and quicker, option for me now.

This app is torture
The worst ever- doesn’t scan, doesn’t load. You can only scan manually and even that has delayed saving. Doing my payroll is torture.
Highly unstable save function
While the scan function has improved lately the calculate and save function is about as predictable as the weather. Such a basic function ruins an otherwise useful system.

Photo capture never work keep crash and date never right. Even try to enter it manually still dont work. Its really bad app

Absolutely useless app. Keeps on freezing and then closes by itself.
Truly a waste of time
I purchased the upgraded UPunch time lock system to take advantage of this app and the ability to just scan time cards instead of manually entering them. This app is seriously the worst. It is completely useless and is not capable of capturing more than 30% of the punches on the cards, and they are not in the correct dates. Very dissatisfied and disappointed that this app has not been updated to work properly in the last four years!

Garbage!
This app is the worst thing I have ever seen. All I want to do is edit the date my pay period starts. But I can not because when I set up the app I entered the incorrect date. Tech support is zero help. I’m told wait until the pay period ends. The period ended yesterday but I still am not able to edit. I’m so glad this app was free otherwise I would insist on a refund. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP.
