A must have
The app is fantastic — it’s exactly what I was missing on my grocery runs. I’ve regretted so many products I bought simply because I didn’t know anything about them, which meant wasted time and money. And many times I want to try something new, but there’s so much information online that it’s discouraging. With this app, I can clearly see the score and feel confident bringing the product home. I haven’t had a single headache about this since, especially when I want to make something special for family and friends.
It also has a setting for my preferences like organic, low sugar, and gluten-free. I love seeing my personalized score compared to the general score. It gives me a greater sense of control over what I bring home, especially with two little ones, since I’m always keeping an eye out for more natural products.
The points program is motivating — every share gives points to both people, and you also earn points for checking in daily and writing reviews. When I go to review a product I’ve already bought after seeing its score in the store, I take advantage of the time I’m cooking: I open the pantry, take photos of the products we use, and if I don’t have time to finish everything right then, I just do it later through my activity feed.
And the best part is that I can redeem the points I’ve earned for an Amazon gift card.
I check it a few times a day to see reviews of products I don’t know yet — I get curious to buy and test them — and also to see if someone has started following me or liking my reviews. It’s addictive, especially after you share it with your friends.

Amazing app!
I use upvote every time I visit the grocery store, it’s been really handy to help me decide between products and saved me quite a few times from making the wrong choice. I love that I can set my own preferences and share my opinion on each product. Everyone should have it!
