Love this App!
This is one of my favorite weather apps. It shows the wind patterns so well, and the satellite images are awesome. When you can see the wind patterns you get a visual picture of what is coming. That is so much better than just numbers. I’d gladly pay for this app. A laborer is worthy of his hire, especially if he/she delivers such a superior product.

I like this app because it gives you more of a realistic look at what will happen in the next 5 to 7 days.
Jet stream
Should have one dark line for Jet Stream! Would be nice!
Great if you live in the USA
But not so great if elsewhere. Doesn’t scroll away from the USA. Ridiculous. And hasn’t been updated for notch phones either.
Chem trails
I used to be able to track and research chem trails on Upweather. Then it was BARRED. Couldn’t even get it on the main site. I had figured that it would happen, from the government not wanting people to be able to research chem trails, but it’s back now, after a long “few” years of being “unavailable in the US.”
That was the explanation, and there was no other info available.
I still wonder how they brought it back, when it was obviously barred by the government?

Great weather satellite app.
I would recommend this weather satellite app. So far the best weather satellite out there .
Really good for timing precipitation arrival
I’ve used for several years. The best for timing arrival of rain or snow. Also has new options for display. Love it and referred it to my son.
Very useful
Shows past and future weather patterns across the US that you cannot get from any other weather app I have tried.
My favorite
This is a fantastic app. I’m so glad it’s back. I was very grumpy when it disappeared for a few weeks. My favorite weather app. Not for temps and detailed forecasts etc. but for a quick look ahead and getting a sense of what’s coming. It’s great to see the frontal systems lining up across the Pacific, seeing the ridges build and projecting it all forward.

There is no easier or more beautiful way of seeing the weather immediately. I particularly like how you can sweep through time with your finger, seeing how the clouds have moved

One of the best weather imagery apps out there. Don't know if there is anything nicer and so easy to use out there. My go to app for satellite images when checking the Gulf of Mexico storms. Thank you!!
Be your own forecast model
The power of bring able to 'scrub' satellite data at will is awesome. I feel like I can compete with computer models. You can just imagine what's going to happen next...
I'm sure this would be even more impressive as more data becomes available, like pressure or temp, or radar...

Great UI, Disappointing Data
The user interface is excellent, but the data it provides is disappointing, as follows:
- Past and present weather images are in HD, but exclude any radar info.
- Future weather images are in very low resolution making them difficult to understand.
- Although radar info is included the future images, the very low resolution makes it difficult to see its intensity and location.
Great potential here, but there is better weather imaging available as utilized in other apps.
Big disappointment.

Really beautiful images and slick /smooth interface. feel like a weather star as you animate forecast by scrolling & learn about the fascinating weather patterns.

Great app for ocean satellite imagery
If you live on a coast it can be very useful to see weather patterns out on the ocean; you can see what’s coming hours or even days in advance. This one does a beautiful job with Pacific ocean satellite imagery, something most weather apps don’t provide. I also like scrubbing to produce a rapid animation that spans days and watching the clouds break over the Sierra and Rocky Mountain ranges. Very well done app.

This one works. The others don't.
I have tried all of the apps that are supposed to show satellite cloud maps. Currently, this is the only one that works at all and it works very well. For me, that makes it worth the $3.
