About
UQIC (University of Queensland Interfaculty Competitions Inc.) is a not-for-profit, student-run organisation that has powered interfaculty social sport at UQ since the early 1970s.
Whether you're a seasoned competitor or lacing up for the first time, UQIC is your gateway to staying active, making friends across faculties, and being part of one of UQ's longest-running student traditions.
In 2026, we're offering 9 team sports across Semester 1 and 2, all played weeknights on the St Lucia campus:
Basketball (Mixed / Men's)
Soccer (Mixed / Men's)
Indoor Volleyball (Mixed)
Beach Volleyball (Mixed)
Futsal – Indoor Soccer (Mixed)
Touch Football (Mixed)
Touch Rugby League (Mixed)
Netball (Mixed)
Rugby Union (Men's)
Each semester runs 10 regular rounds across Weeks 2–12. A summer semester also runs select sports including Netball, Beach Volleyball and Soccer.
Beyond the regular season, UQIC hosts three premier events: the Executive TRL Day, the Fixture Mixer, and the MEGA Launch Party — UQ's biggest social of the year.
Use the app to register for competitions, check your fixtures, follow results and stay connected with your team — all in one place.
Built by students. Run for everyone.
