URLStrip 1.2 adds expanded Privacy Redirect support and sharing improvements for privacy-friendly social links. What changed since 1.1: Added “Copy Both Links” and “Share Both Links” for supported Privacy Redirect results. When URLStrip redirects supported Reddit or X/Twitter links to a privacy-friendly frontend, users can now share both the cleaned original link and the privacy-friendly link together. Improved link preview behavior when sharing both links by placing the cleaned original URL first, followed by the privacy redirect URL. Improved Safari extension Privacy Redirect handling for X/Twitter and Reddit links, including more reliable app setting sync between the main app and Safari extension. Added Safari request-level redirect handling for supported X/Twitter status URLs to make redirects more reliable before the original page loads. Added a Safari Extension Diagnostics setting, off by default, to help troubleshoot extension behavior when needed without showing diagnostic details during normal use. Fixed several Safari extension edge cases around native messaging, fallback redirect behavior, selected frontend settings, and diagnostic version/build display. All URL cleaning and redirect decisions continue to happen locally on device. URLStrip does not require an account and does not send the user’s links, browsing history, settings, or statistics to Tacita Labs.
