About

Prepare for your U.S. naturalization interview with confidence. US Citizen Test Practice helps you study the official civics questions, hear every answer spoken clearly, and practice saying them out loud — so nothing at your interview is a surprise. The 2025 civics test All 128 official USCIS questions, matched word for word against the government's own study materials. Your practice test asks 20 and needs 12 correct, exactly like the real one. Study what you actually need Every question tracks its own mastery. Your daily practice is built from what you keep getting wrong, not from a random shuffle. Hear it and say it Listen to every question and answer at your own speed. Practice speaking your answers out loud and get encouraging feedback on what to work on — the part of the interview people are least prepared for. A realistic mock interview Scored exactly like the real civics test — including stopping early once you've passed, or once passing is no longer possible. 65/20 special consideration If you are 65 or older and have been a permanent resident for 20 years, study just the 20 questions USCIS marks for you. Also included Flashcards · reading and writing practice · a study plan built around your interview date · progress and streaks · full offline study · light and dark themes · large, readable text. Important US Citizen Test Practice is an independent study app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to USCIS, the Department of Homeland Security, or any U.S. government agency, and it does not provide legal or immigration advice. Some answers change with elections and appointments — always confirm current answers at uscis.gov before your interview.

What's New in US Citizen Test Practice

1.0.3

September 23, 2026

Spoken and typed answers are scored much more accurately. Dozens of correct answers were being marked wrong and now count: "voting" for "vote", "fourteenth amendment", "only citizens", "nobody is above the law", spelled-out numbers, and answers that name the right thing in your own words. Several wrong answers that were being accepted no longer are. Every question now offers genuinely different options, so no answer can be picked out by its shape instead of by knowing it. Also fixed: the 65/20 study plan asked for more questions than that test contains, and onboarding and Settings offered different study-time choices.
