After the first 5 minutes you have learned how to associate the name of the state with its location.

It's a nice mix of map to flash cards. I had it with minimal repetition.
Better alternatives are out there
Why should I be forced to create an account to use this app, i.e. to learn U.S. geography? To sync my progress? Then use iCloud, so I donโt have to bother with setting up yet another account. The more likely answer is to add my info to a sellable list. Just what I DONโT want. This is made all the more ridiculous by charging for an โapp unlockโ in addition to requiring an account. Forget it. There are less intrusive and expensive ways to learn geography.

Great app to re-learn states and capitals. As an adult I was amazingly ignorant of state capitals. This app has helped me learn them again.
Bad game
Don't get this game. It makes you unlock stuff, and if your good at geography it just wastes your time and space for you apps!!! Horrible Game!!

I'm only 11, and I have to learn all 50 states and capitals, and this app helped me a lot! There's no other app like this! Don't listen to any of the haters! They are rong! The best way to learn the states
I love this app!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I tried all the other apps to learn the states but they were multiple choice and easy. This one is perfect. Don't listen to the haters who write bad reviews THE MAP IS NOT SMALL
Excellent aid, technically perfect
No doubt about it, this is the hard answer to all the airy fairy Lumosity nonsense. It took me four days of casual effort and it's locked in. Now I've just downloaded another twelve of Brainscape's apps and I can't wait to check them out.

Pretty good for a memory-style refresher, but to have to pay to go further is ridiculous. Perhaps make it more of a quiz and have people tap the state they think is correct.

Have been using it for the past week, and have really learned a lot. I am not too sure about the landmarks feature. I will suggest they take that out. Apart from that its a great APP. GET IT !!!!!!
