Completed my pre-licensing with U.S. Realty a while back but delayed taking the DRE exam. I came back for their weekend crash course—and honestly assumed I’d probably fail the test.
Mac Nomura doesn’t just teach the material—he helps you get out of your own head, stay calm, and actually understand how the concepts connect. His personal stories and coaching made the content feel way less intimidating and way more doable.

Amazing App
My overall experience with US Realty Training was amazing. The app, the in-class experience, and the crash course all exceeded my expectations.
**Ho Chung (In-Person Classes):**
I chose in-person classes with Ho Chung because that is how I learn best, and it also gave me a great chance to meet real estate professionals and others who were serious about the field. Ho made the class encouraging, informative, and genuinely enjoyable. He kept it engaging and funny at times, while still bringing life to content that can sometimes feel very compliance heavy. Ho is an excellent instructor and extremely knowledgeable. What really set him apart was his understanding of the Los Angeles real estate market. He shared practical insights and real-world context that felt like priceless gems. I would highly recommend Ho Chung to anyone who wants a strong foundation and a class experience that truly brings the material to life.
**Mac Nomura (Crash Course):**
Mac Nomura is a lifesaver. Before attending his crash course, I was scoring in the low 60 percent on practice exams. I had my state exam scheduled for the following Tuesday and I was extremely nervous. After attending just one session, my score jumped to 71 percent, then 76 percent the very next day. That momentum carried me through, and I passed the exam on the first try that following Tuesday. Mac’s tips, strategies, and mindset conditioning were a game changer for me. I genuinely believe his approach directly contributed to my success. His study strategies saved me countless hours and made sure I was studying efficiently and effectively. He helped me focus on what actually moves the needle, instead of wasting time on low impact studying. He also used engaging, real-world examples that made the concepts memorable and easy to recall under pressure. At first, I was nervous about his method. Then I decided to trust the process like he said, and I am so glad I did. I attended in person and it was absolutely worth the investment. I took the US Realty Crash course training last weekend with Mac and I’ve never felt more confident to take the real estate exam! Mac helps us identify test taking anxiety, how to tackle it, and use the practice exams to our advantage. I also appreciate the content he shares with us to help put us more in a positive state. I am so grateful for his tips! I am not a fan of multiple choice tests so this has been a game changer to help me think of the exam more strategically and focus on improving areas I am doing better in than others. I even rescheduled my exam to give myself more time to make sure I am ready per the strategies learned.

Worth it!
I took the crash course class this past weekend with Mac Nomura and it was an amazing experience! Mac gave great tips on how to pass the state exam as well as uplifting and motivating words of wisdom/encouragement. Before I arrived on the first day I felt stressed but soon after I felt more confident and knew I would pass. His energy is contagious and will make you feel like you can accomplish anything. I was never really good at taking tests but with the tips he gave I passed the state exam on the first try! I highly recommend taking his crash course class you definitely won’t regret it!

Awful app/DO NOT buy
Constantly submitted tickets to have the app fixed and nothing has been done. It glitches anytime you close it out when reading a book, never lets you save annotations, I can’t even take my exams on it anymore cus it says not working. I literally have to delete and redownload it once every two weeks to get it to work halfway. It’s awful.

I recently took a crash course with Mac Nomura. It was one of the most insightful weekends I have experienced in a very long time. Mac is a very dedicated professional, who has certainly made the start of my journey in real estate a wonderful experience. I passed my salesperson license exam on my very first try, thanks to his dedication and test taking strategies. I highly recommend this crash course for anybody obtaining their real estate license.

I am glad I took both the in-person class with Kelly Aluise and the in-person crash course with Mac Nomura. Along with the app and website material, I was able to get years of real estate experience, a comfortable feel for what it is like to work in real estate, a laser focus to study for the exam, and, I was able to pass the first time! Weekend crash course with Mac
I had the absolute privilege of taking a weekend crash course before my Tuesday test and boy was it worth it. Mac Nomura was absolutely INCREDIBLE!! I cannot say a bad thing about the guy. I’ve had multiple teachers and coaches for real estate and he has by far been the best. He goes into extensive detail with everything he does and gives examples that make it easier to understand which most trainers miserably fail to do. I passed my exam on my FIRST ATTEMPT thanks to Mac. Couldn’t recommend this course with Mac anymore!!
