Where’s the new ruleset
The rules updated Aug 1 and the app is still the 21-25 rule set. This app is super handy but not if it’s out of date.
Search function is garbage.
Please fix the search option. USA hockey needs to be doged.
Android Option
This app is not available for android devices on the Google play store.
Jumbled words on screen
I just deleted the app and reinstalled to try and fix the jumbling of words on my phone screen. No luck. Same garbage. My iPhone is up to date with the latest software. Not the phone. This app is terrible. 2016-2020 app was 1000% better. Glad I still have my rule book in the bag. Get better!!

For what we pay every year to USA hockey you’d think we could get an online rule-book that works.

Useful
This is a useful resource but it doesn’t have the gray highlighted text to show what’s new in this edition of the rules. I also run into occasional sections that say “Content not yet implemented.”
A small issue with new app
When using search function typing in the search search query doesn’t show but does search when hitting enter.
Doesn’t load properly
Information for each section or rules over lap each other . Very difficult to read. No where near as good as the last app. Needs serious work!

Just one problem…
It is a great resource to have but they made the font too small for me. I am in my 50’s and wear reading glasses for small type and the glasses are not always with me when I need to lookup a rule. The app developer should have made a font size option given the age of many of their refs, coaches and off ice officials.

Old or New rules?
The rules seem to be 2 yrs old...this app needs to be updated.
Font size - no ability to increase font size?
I’m sure the app would be great if there were a way to increase the font size. This is a standard framework of Apple’s iOS dev tools kit and there’s a ton of free information on how to implement font sizing in the interface. Please make this a functional change in future updates.

GOLD MEDAL APP 🥇
USA Hockey provides so many great tools that benefit our Game. After reading the entire RuleBook for the first time ever via this App it is my opinion this is the best tool USAH has ever produced. I always have my iPhone in my pocket, now I always have the USAH RuleBook in my pocket. This allows me to study wherever I have downtime. Waiting at the Dr Office, Airport, Airplane, Train, Restaurant, Ice Rink etc.
As a hockey player and hockey coach with over fifty years experience I have decided to give back to the game by taking on the daunting challenge of becoming a referee. As a rookie referee I am faced with the enormous responsibility of properly officiating the game I love. This App has and will continue to help me rise to this challenge.
The only thing I could think to add to this vital tool is to produce an Audio Book version. All those long hours behind the wheel could be used to help master this RuleBook and its philosophy. Thank You to everyone involved in bringing this together. Bravo 👏👏 👏👏👏👏
