Poor App Update

New update has REMOVED the ability to write a review for a specific rest area, unless you are able to “ check in “ at the rest area. If you are forced to pass a rest area that was showing in the app as OPEN, but then discover that it is CLOSED as you drive by it, you won’t have the ability to “ check in “ and leave an updated message to fellow drivers that it is actually CLOSED. The new Ad feature is very annoying as well, but it’s understandable that it’s needed to generate revenue.

Thank you for the feedback. The comments were removed to prevent spam and inappropriate messages. You can mark a rest stop as closed by tapping the "Edit" button in the middle of the screen when you view the rest stop. From there you can mark it as closed and tap the "Submit" button.

Almost useless Now

The last update really changed this app..& not in a good way.. All I want to see are rest areas ahead of me in the direction Im going on the interstate im on.. Its just a mess now.!

Thanks for the feedback. The rest stops closest to you still show up in a list on the main screen labeled as "Nearby" just like in the old app.

Bad update

I’ve been using this app for many years as a full time RVer. It was one of my favorite and preferred apps until your “update.” Now I find myself looking at an alternate rest area app option. You’ve added advertisements and have made the app no longer user friendly. I had favorites saved and can no longer access those. Poor choice to make changes from what used to be a great and easy to use app

Thanks for the feedback. The app has always had ads, but yes I had to change how they are displayed to be compliant with the advertising agency that I'm using. There is an in-app purchase that will allow you to remove the ads. Displaying ads is the only way I can afford to keep this app operational. If you email me I can manually transfer your favorites for you.

Upgrade Issues

While I appreciate the upgrade you guys worked so hard on the app is now harder to use. There is no way to make comment or rate the stops anymore and I have to watch an ad every time I try to get directions to the stop. Where did all my previous badges go? Also the check in feature never works since upgrade.

Thank you for the constructive feedback. The comments were removed because the majority of them were either gibberish, spam, or vulgar. I decided it was not worth the effort to monitor them. I'm still in the process of getting the ratings back in. If email me I can manually transfer over your badges.

New update

I have been using this app for a long time and love it !! The new update is pretty cool but it shows a rest stop closed and when we came past it was open and actually stopped and used the facilities I tried to update it but it wouldn’t let me 🤷🏻‍♀️

App gets better every time I use it!

At least, I’m constantly finding new useful features! The ease at which I can access different maps and tools is awesome!

Invaluable app for road-trips

This app lets you plan ahead for your next stop — extra important if you have dogs. I love that you can just pop the location into your map app so you don’t space and miss it.

More Roads Required

This App doesn’t help if you are not on an Inteerstste Highway. Quite often we are not on Interstates but we still need to find rest stops

Used to Love CRASHES

I loved this app a few years ago. Now when I open and select in state view more app CRASHES. Trying to look at any state nothing loads. Disappointing as i really did love knowing options for safe stopping.

Crashes

Maybe needs an update. App was working this morning. This afternoon it won’t open. Tries to, but then goes to a blank screen. I have deleted and reinstalled it, but no luck.
