That's good feedback, you're right, a full GUI would be a great for a more detailed view. The current app is designed to be a quick, text-based utility that lives in the menu bar, but I am actively exploring a more comprehensive 'Connection Information Center' as a separate, full-window app. If you'd be interested in testing something like that down the road, please feel free to reach out to our support email at dan@usbconnectioninformation.com. Perfect for finding slow drives
Task bar drop down gives the full list of connected volumes and the speed they are connected at. This helps troubleshoot why copying files across different volumes can vary so much (480mbps vs 5gbps). Thankyou.

You are absolutely correct that this information is available in the System Information app. The entire reason I built the app was that I found myself digging through those menus every time I plugged in a device and wanted a faster, more convenient alternative right in the menu bar. Regarding the affiliate link, you're right that an early version included one. Based on user feedback, that button was completely removed from the app shortly after launch. The version tagged in your review, and all current versions on the App Store, do not contain this feature. I'm sorry for any confusion this may have caused. If you're on the latest version and still have any concerns, please reach out to us directly so we can look into it.

Thanks for trying out our app. I am sorry for the confusion! Our app lives in your menu bar at the very top of the screen, so it won't open a separate window when you click it. Please look for our icon up there, near your Wi-Fi and clock icons. Sometimes, if you have too many icons, the menu bar runs out of room. You might need to hide a few other items or use a free app like "Hidden Bar" to manage them. Hope that helps you find it! Contact support at "dan@usbconnectioninformation.com" if you're still stuck.

Thanks for the report! I am constantly adding new hardware to our database. Support for the MacBook Pro 14" M4 was included in a recent update. Please make sure your app is updated to the latest version from the App Store to correctly identify the device. If the issue persists after updating, please do not hesitate to contact support.
