Over the past 12 months, we’ve significantly expanded and modernized the USDA AHS mobile application. In addition to its core functionality that allows users to securely retrieve and locally store premises information, this release introduces a major new capability: authorized users can now Register Premises directly from the app—streamlining workflows and reducing reliance on desktop processes. The application has also undergone a complete redesign, featuring a more intuitive and user‑friendly interface, improved navigation, and enhanced performance throughout. Much of the development over the past year has also focused on strengthening the underlying framework of the app to support future growth. This foundational work enables new features and workflows to be activated as needed without requiring additional mobile updates, ensuring the application can continue to evolve rapidly and efficiently. Together, these improvements deliver a faster, clearer, and more capable mobile experience for field operations and AHS program needs.
