Can’t login
I’m a UX researcher and just updated the app. Now when I try to login I get stuck in a loop where it keeps asking me for my username and then my password and then my username and then my password etc. I tried restarting the app but no luck.
Didn’t even submit my practice test
Thanks for wasting my time.

When I try and reset my password it just tells me it’s incorrect. Can’t even log in..

takes ages to review and doesn't pay for time spent most of the time!!
Get a UX Designer
Both the app and website are ridden with bugs that kill usability. There’s honestly no chance for new users because you don’t push relevant surveys to them first like other apps do. Syncing between the app and web isn’t working, and when you refresh it gives you the same screeners you didn’t qualify for. Please fix the experience!

Not understanding the negative reviews
The app is far from perfect; definitely ironically bad UX for a UserTesting app, but it’s legit and has plenty of opportunities to earn.

Glitch so had to leave test
I downloaded this app after receiving feedback request from recipe box company I use.Answered lots of questions then came to a page that was meant to show me prototype but showed nothing just blank page and i couldn’t go back or continue to next page so had no choice but to leave test and try to reload.I left test but when tried to enter test again told full? Waste of my time downloading app and answer questions.Ive deleted app but wondering if some kind scam

Can’t reset password
The app is saying my password is incorrect and when I try to reset it, instead of getting a link to my email, I am taken to a page to download the app. The app is taking me to the page that tells me to download it. The app is not user friendly and when I decline studies, they don’t disappear from the feed. That’s very frustrating. I have been using other testing platforms such as Utest, Dscout, Prolific, CloudConnect and none have as many issues as this app. Wasting my time.

Often glitches and you don’t get paid
I’ve been a user testing member for a decade. This app often fails to upload tests and then you don’t get paid. Their website also has issues with the chrome extension. Free labor for them!
Scam
They take your info including forcing you to share your private details on your screen in the hope of payment, then they block you.
Terrible App terrible experience
All the tests make me take screener questions and then reject me. Using an app or service should not be this frustrating, they should have user profile settings to better match tests and surveys with users so we don’t waste our time. Incredibly disappointing and frustrating.
The app also has a glitch where it will not allow you to proceed with any tests until you verify location services, but I had to look online to find a workaround because it was not working with my phone location services, which is a known glitch that just adds to the frustrating experience of using this app.

Several tests haven’t uploaded
I’ve missed out on several payments due to the completed tests not uploading. Extremely annoying and a waste of my time
Great way to make quick money.
I’ve been using this app over the summer to make some money easily, and it’s proven very useful! It takes awhile for the tests to start rolling in, but if you prove useful to the app— it’ll prove useful to you. After you do your first couple tests, you’ll start getting more, just stick to it. I’ve made $80 just by giving my thoughts. I usually stick to the $10 quizzes as those are most valuable to my time, and as I’ve completed more, I get more opportunities as well. This is a great little app!!

It’s okay
Most of the tests I don’t qualify for, but there are some that I do and it’s a good way to make an extra cash, plus it sends even 1$ to PayPal which is great

The last update change the way to accept test some location requirements never let you start the tests

Do not use this app for tests. You will get failed uploads and errors which will mean you lose work without payment. Stick to the desktop version for your own peace of mind.
What happened here?
Mobile iOS app is lousy the last 6 weeks. Screeners that are supposed to be available are actually not and open to a blank screen; too many screeners listed that are no longer available. But lots of emails coming in promoting test opportunities. What happened to the process recently cos it’s worse than before. “Keep the app open when the test is uploading” infinite spinner while test never loads.

Gone downhill so much lately!
Apparently UT has merged with another company and perhaps that is why the app is so awful now. Tests cannot be paused so if something happens (like a loud noise from a neighbor or child) you have to just keep going. Tests frequently glitch or cannot be uploaded— and there is no compensation anymore. Also, $1 surveys for 30+ minutes of time are truly insulting with $1 not even buying a candy bar in 2026. It’s just so sad that things had to change!
