No Pregnancy Uniform Visuals
The app is fantastic, the only part that is lacks is any visual of the pregnancy uniform items for female marines.
Missing the fleet sticking points
Missing:
-civilian attire
-what the lowest regulation hair cut looks like.
- what an out of reg haircut looks like.
This should be a hold up and show someone what right and wrong looks like.
The mustache picture is very questionable.

App Review
I am in Marine Corps JROTC and our marine instructor told us to download this app to help us get familiar with the uniforms. I downloaded it. Here’s what I think about it, I think it’s a very well made app. It doesn’t lag or anything, no bugs. The app is very self explanatory and it’s simple to use. The app has the female and male categories, along with enlisted and officer categories to distinguish which uniform is which. The app helps me learn how to wear the uniform properly and look squared away. Overall, 10/10 app. Keep it up.

8999 propaganda
Almost every item has some “rule” that is completely made up and not referenced anywhere in 1020.34. This is just 8999 slop that will be used as gospel by some illiterate 1stSgt.
It’s decent.
The app is slightly faster than just looking up the order on EPub (or Google). If you want a basic overview, it works. It also gives a link to the publication for more accurate info. It’s not a one-stop shop, though.
Still needs more work
The app is functional but lacks a lot of detail that anyone would expect. This is not an end all, be all app due to its over simplified interface and design. Proper pictures and explanations would make this app much better as the ones available do not suffice to explain how to properly wear everything in detail. Yes there are explanations and pictures that cover a lot. It would still be nice to have more depth. For example. The service alpha uniform section explains verbatim how to wear 2 shooting badges but fails to show you with a proper picture of how to wear them. It does explain but the whole reason for an app rather than a MCO is to dumb it down to a lower level. Why is there a photo of dress blues on the service alpha uniform section? These are basic standards for easy clarification but the dev clearly didn’t effort into.
Overall I hate this app. It fails to do anything the order doesn’t say. Other than easy navigation to what you are looking for.

Great app
This is a great app, very solid ground for improvements and changes. I would suggest adding a page where it can help you organize ribbons in order. Mostly basic knowledge but very much needed in case you forget something
Missed opportunity
In a day and age where everyone has access to smartphones and apps, you’d think more effort would be put into this. Should include more pictures and examples of what right looks like for easy reference. As is, this app will assist no more than any other publication that’s easily found online.
Incredibly basic
The information is only the most basic well known information. More detailed information that Marines actually need to reference that may be found in the order is missing. (Division/distinguished badge info, organizational item wear guidance, nuanced occasions for wear guidelines). Future updates will be welcome.

Bum Scoop
Very first item I went to, male mustache. And to no surprise at all, the app shows a false policy not detailed in MCO1020.34H v2. The app clearly states “may not extend over the upper lip”. A simple Ctrl+F will show you such.
Rah
Thank god for pictures
Pointless
Completely pointless app.
Back in my day we just looked at the order P1020.34G with changes 1-5

Lack of quality control
The app is a great idea but not all the information is correct. i.e. the female garrison cap depicted is incorrect. Additionally, when under the female uniform section it lists both male and female regulations, WITH THE MALES LISTED FIRST. What is the point of separating into gender categories if both genders is listed under the same description.
