Brilliant photo organizer
The Utiful app is excellent for organizing photos into folders (and sub-folders), easily managed and identified with emojis. I have 4k photos in 86 folders, but with a wide range of interests I have a legacy of some 15k photos still to sort collected since first iPad in 2011. I understand from the friendly, helpful support team that welcome improvements including a search facility and preview to help identify photos in a folder are in the pipeline. Warmly recommended!

No ads. Makes you pay a fee to download. Something else. Wouldn’t recommend or whatever.

This app could be 10 Stars….. if you made an MacOS version.
It does not good to move photos into Utiful to organize and keep out of main galllery on phone and iPad if they disappear off iMac without Utiful to access them.

It’s the best app everrr
It’s changed my life. So organized now! Easy to use. Their tech support is awesome and they’re constantly making the app better. Really some of the best money I’ve ever spent.
Can’t send photos from Utiful to my camera roll.
I was so excited to download this app, it sounded like exactly what I’ve been looking for. And it was easy to send photos from my camera roll to Utiful. Unfortunately once they are there, I cannot retrieve them. All of the normal options to send them back to Photos don’t work. I followed all the frequently asked questions, I watched all the troubleshooting videos, I’ve done all the workarounds, and because there’s no actual support option I’m very much regretting downloading the app. Now I have 300 photos stuck in Utiful and the best I can do is screenshot everything I need to use in CapCut to make reels. I’m pretty frustrated and just want the app to work like it’s supposed to.

Very good but missing one Simple Fix
App has been great so far, but this one simple fix would help a ton. When clicking the “move to” feature on a photo the “new folder” button is all the way at the bottom. It can be annoying having to consistently scroll all the way to the bottom to create new folders. Having the new folder as the first option instead of the last would be game changing.
Context: im organizing most of my photos individually into separate folders and have a lot of folders. Organizing into subfolders to clear space and make the scroll down shorter is not feasible at this time.

Almost but not quite!
This app looks perfect for what I need an app that I can use as a reference library. But it’s tedious to see it’s full functionality with out payment. To the developers if you are going to sell an app on subscription the buyer has to have access to the whole app before purchase or offer alternate purchase paths
I would buy this app and even pay more for it but NOT on subscription and the same is also true for Apples new Photomator app buy once and pay for subsequent upgrades is still the best model!

Great photo organization app
This is an awesome app for organizing my photos. I love having things organized, and this allows me to do that easily. I very highly recommend this for anyone who wants to have their photos organized into folders.
This app is completely useless unless you are willing to pay.
This app is completely useless unless you are willing to pay. At the beginning, it will let you make a folder and select photos to go into it, then when you click to actually move them into the folder, it a start free trial page.
Love the app
I’ve been using this app for sometime now and I have over a thousand folders. I don’t understand why when you add a new folder, it goes to the bottom instead of the beginning. Why do I have to scroll through all the older stuff to add another photo? Is there a setting to change the order? Fix that and you’ve got a 10!

App no longer working with IOS
I have the 14 pro max and i really loved the app before. it really helped me organize my memes to quickly access them from within imessage. however ever since the new ios 26 launched, my app no longer works in imessage. when i click it the screen is blank. i’ve been waiting for months now on an update to fix this but i think im gonna just have to cancel my subscription and find something else which bums me out for real.

Made mistake of trusting this and lost my pictures
A while back I was going through a hard moment with it person I thought was my one and only in order to make myself feel a little bit better. I decided to use this have to move over all the images that just felt too hard to see in my photos app Now long later when everything’s worked out, I realize none of those images exist anymore as this app and it’s many layers of backups and sinks is just glitching out and I’ve been waiting for a few weeks now thinking that something is going to finally download because the images are trickling in here or there, but we’re talking about 2000 images just lostmaybe 50 of trickled back in their team is unable to help

This app works great. It allows me to organize all my pictures in folders. I’ve had no issues with it at all, it works as expected and easy to use. For me the price is warranted given the number of pics I have and Apple’s lack of simple folder structure.

I waited until I had used Utiful for a year to review.
This app is very useful. You can set up folders and sub folders to store your photos in.
For example I have a folder for my grandson the in the folder my subfolders are like Age 1, Age 2, Christmas 2025, etc. it makes it so easy to find your pictures.

I cannot live without your app! I use it to separate clients’ images and keep everything organized. Thank you so much for a brilliant way to store photos and find them again!
I do agree with another user that it would be helpful if thumbnails were larger. Please consider this suggestion or even a way to expand the view inside of a folder (two finger slide). Thanks!

I loved this app, but unfortunately lost about 800 photos which k cannot get back.

Been a long time user, since 2018. It's been a good companion for organising photos.
Would like to see support for HDR photos and videos, and definitely for a smooth seeking on videos.
Another feature the devs can add is to retain the original filename (toggle setting) and keep conflicting filenames with a suffix number.
