About

UtilX runs field workflows on your phone. Inspect assets, report leaks, read meters, check safety before a job, complete work orders and handle the jobs assigned to you, with or without a connection. UtilX is made for water utilities first, and power and energy crews can use it too. It is designed for field crews and their supervisors in Saudi Arabia and across the Middle East. Sign in with your UtilX account Enter the email address of your UtilX account, then the code sent to it. If your account belongs to more than one organization, choose the one to work in on this phone. Your organization's administrator gives you access; there is no sign-up in the app. Your organization's workflows Workflows your team publishes in UtilX on the computer reach the phone of everyone in the organization who can run them, and updates arrive whenever the phone is online. Each one is kept on the phone, so it still runs without a signal. Five ready-made templates The templates are ready in your language as soon as you sign in, and the Templates screen offers each one in English and Arabic. - Asset Inspection: scan the asset tag, work through the condition checklist, take photo evidence and add notes. The last result is shown on the next visit. - Leak or Incident Report: report a leak, burst main, pressure problem or damaged asset. Record the severity, the location, what you see and the affected asset, then add photos. Each report gets a reference number. - Meter Reading: scan the meter ID, enter the reading and photograph the dial. The app shows the previous reading and asks you to check any lower reading, unless the meter was replaced. - Pre-Job Safety Checklist: record the job, the hazards on site and how they are controlled, and confirm the crew has the right PPE. Anyone can stop work at any step, and the reason is recorded. - Work Order Completion: pick an open work order, take before photos, record the work done, take after photos and sign off. Crews can also add work orders on the phone. Jobs assigned to you Jobs assigned to you in UtilX appear on the Workflows tab and in Jobs. Accept or decline a job, start its workflow and finish the work on the phone. Whoever assigned the job is told how it went. Your work at a glance - Workflows: continue a run you left part way through, and see your open jobs and each workflow's recent runs. - Runs: the runs on the phone, with each run's steps and photos. - Stats: how many runs, the success rate, the average run time and the most common failure reasons, for today, this week or this month. Built for the field - Take photos as evidence. - Scan barcodes and QR codes with the camera. - Add the GPS location to inspections and reports. - Fill in checklists and forms. - Keep a record of every run and its photos on the phone. Works offline You need a connection to sign in. After that, workflows run on the phone itself, so crews keep working where there is no signal. Job updates made without a signal wait on the phone and are sent on their own when you are back online. In Profile, Sync and storage shows whether the phone is online, what is waiting to be sent and how much space photos and videos take, and lets you try sending now. To clear the phone, sign out and choose Remove all UtilX data from this device on the sign-in screen. Your UtilX account and organizations stay in UtilX. Pair with UtilX on your computer In Profile, choose Pair with desktop, then scan the QR code that UtilX shows on your computer. The phone and the computer must be on the same Wi-Fi network. The phone then downloads the workflows built there, and you can refresh them whenever you are back on that network. No internet connection is needed. English and Arabic UtilX is available in English and Arabic, with a full right-to-left layout in Arabic. It follows your phone's language, and you can change it in Profile.
