Utopia: Noa's Voyage

The Antarctic ice sheet slid into the ocean, and in eleven months the sea rose almost seventy metres. Only roofs and spires are left above the water. Noa has lived on a sailing yacht for a year, searching drowned towers for people. His logbook holds the same entry again and again: “No one.” In the morning he dives into a bank under the clock spire and finds a safe broken open. It is the first trace of a person in a year. • A home on the water: cabin, galley, chart table with the map and logbook, echo sounder by the wheel. • The yacht under sail and diesel: wheel, telegraph, anchor, and fuel you still have to find. • Dives into drowned buildings: flats, offices, shopping centres, bell towers. Air is limited, there are air pockets under the ceilings, a crowbar opens what is locked. • Raising heavy things: lift bag, winch, safes and crates on deck. • A box of finds: things of the people who left. • A living sea: day and night and light, calm, rain and squalls from the west, fishing from the stern, a desalinator, gulls on the roofs, dolphins, hammerhead sharks in the holds of sunken ships. • Towns at the edge of the sea, the Sargasso Sea and a dark lighthouse at the edge of the world. A pixel-art game. If you like the beginning, you can buy the rest of the game in-app and keep playing.
