Viewing my exam schedules

Worst app ever created on this planet.

It would be great…

Makes you login every time you open the app with a full password, two factor authentication and way too many clicks.

Takes a few minutes to login sometimes when I could just login to quest or whatever I actually need in less time.

It has everything I’d want, but I hate to use it because of the time wasted.

If I close and open the app right away, I have to login again.

2FA every time

It would be a 4/5 but I have to sign in and use 2FA EVERY SINGLE TIME I launch the app, even though I press “remember this device”. I’m always better off using Quest in a web browser because atleast that remembers my session.

Keeps signing me out

I can only be on the app for less than 2 minutes before it signs me out. Please fix this

Terrible quality

App works maybe 20% of the time, and that’s if it lets you sign in. Calendar/Schedule barely works, and does not provide accurate information. Expected much better from Waterloo.

Update took away to point of the app

I used this app to see my schedule but the update took away the calendar so now I have no way to see my schedule. I don’t know why you would do this. I really need to see what classes I have and you took that away.

Thank you for the feedback, Moly Yo 99. We certainly appreciate your comment. Our development team is currently working a new calendar view, which we will be implementing in the near future. In the meantime, you can also try exporting the calendar in LEARN or Portal web and using the calendar on your device or email client such as Outlook. We hope that the new calendar view will better meet your needs. Thank you again for reaching out. Portal continues to grow and evolve based on student feedback. Tip: To export your calendar in Portal web, simply go to the Portal calendar (https://portal.uwaterloo.ca/#/calendar), select the 3 horizontal dots beside ‘My calendars’, select ‘Export calendar’, and select ‘Copy iCal URL’. Paste this URL in your preferred calendar application.

Wrong Account

I think there’s something wrong? I log in with my ID and password, and I verify with 2FA but it appears I’m in someone else’s account. The name, student ID and username is all someone else’s.

Getting Better

When I first downloaded the app in first year, there was nothing useful for me other than the map! Now, it seems that there’s Meal Plan/Flex Dollars balance, open classrooms, and more academics available to see in the app. Would definitely like to see more improvements.

Miss the old version

I remember downloading the app last year and thinking how great it was that UW had an app where I could have easy access to my classes and exam schedule. Now I sorely miss that! I think it would be a good option to add a reload WatCard function too.

Quick navigation and all useful at one place

Good place to check your calendar and the events registered. Easy navigation.
Could add the old features that were out after upgrading.

Functional and Easy to Use

It’s nice to have your entire schedule in one convenient place from classes to finals in order to better manage your time. It’s also nice to see watcard balance without the hassle of a separate login.
