Great content; poor software.
I enjoy studying from an iPad and found the app a great feature of the u world program. The study content is great the ability to make flashcards on the go is very helpful. I like the way to study plan is set up to help you reach your goal date. One issue I’ve been having is that every time I open the app and log in, I have to try three or four times before I can access the study material. I’ve used other study apps and never had an issue like this. Another thing is that the video lectures tend to lag behind the audio. I also wish these lectures could be put on auto play, so you can move from one to the next without having to go back to the main screen. I look forward to an update that will fix these bugs.

It’s great when it works
It’s great to be able to study on the go but half the time it won’t let me log in or I can’t get the videos to load
Ebook does not work
Fix the Ebook functionality on mobile and it’s 5 stars.
Very Buggy
The app is fine when it actually works. The video lectures cut out and buffer randomly which is super annoying. Sometimes you need to restart the entire app just to get the video to keep playing. The videos also restart from the beginning when you press the pause button. The app is also very unresponsive, you have to touch the screen multiple times usually just to get to a different page.

audio on lectures cutting off
The audio is constantly muted after 30-50 seconds and when I reached out to support, they keep on saying that they do not have any report of the issue so I am lucked out/use laptop instead of Ipad… Surely if you don’t help out people with the issue, you wont have any “reports”. It could be Apple that caused this issue with OS 26.1 but it is very clear that Uworld doesn’t care about the app.

Incorrect App Description
In the app information description, it mentions the study planner accessible on the website. However, this isn’t feature isn’t available on the actual phone app. If the study planner from the website gets integrated into the app, my review would change into a 5 star.

This app feels very basic. They have added some much needed updates such as listening to videos in the background. However, the biggest annoyance which hinders my progress is the buffering and the videos dropping audio. I download these videos offline and they STILL buffer and drops the audio while the video continues to play.

Study Plan
This is a great program but I wish that the app version had the study plan view.
Pausing video restarts
Pausing a video in this app restarts the video from the beginning and does not save your place. When you are 30 minutes into a video and need to pause, it is a massive time waster to guess where you were at when you hit pause. Please fix this. It makes videos unwatchable
App is too basic; useless textbook
My main concern with this iPad app is that the textbook has tons of extra spaces inside words, splitting them into multiple pieces - the textbook is almost impossible to read, it’s useless. I do not have this issue on the website.
It would also be nice to have a night mode or sepia option for the textbook, after fixing the text of course.

Videos not loading
Even if you pre-download videos, there is no practical way to watch them on the go, only working with Wi-Fi connection on your mobile device

Buggy
Works for the most part, but can be very buggy - I was unable to log in or submit the exams at times. I also wish we were able to download the textbook for offline viewing.
A lot of errors
There are a lot of errors when trying to play a video clicked from question solution, error in making notes ,error after trying submitting exams, I should note that the calculator in the test is a brilliant idea but it takes the whole screen it would be better if it’s a little smaller.

Delete & Re-Download
Will not function properly when attempting to use after timing out from previous session. Must delete and download every time the app is used. Therefore it’s not convenient to use as apps should own convenience.
Auto Play to Next Video Not Available
Sometimes I want to just listen to lectures. It would be nice to auto play to next lecture instead of declining to take Test after every lecture. Can there be a feature dedicated to just the lectures?
Good Study Course - terrible app
This app is infuriating. Videos will continue playing but the audio and video freezes. Impossible to listen to this while traveling.
Orientation on videos
The orientation on the videos will not change to landscape. It remains in portrait when you turn the phone to the side. It is very hard to see on your phone. If you can’t put the video on landscape because the words are too small. Please fix thank you.
