Needs update
You’ll need an older phone to use it it’s built for older platform. I use an iPhone 7 just for that and it works

I’ve had my 2018 RSV4 RF for 2 years now and have only been able to use the app with the bike maybe a handful of time in the beginning of ownership. It has been a good year or longer that every time I open the V4-MP app it opens and closes immediately after opening! It’s very frustrating that one feature that I loved about owning an Aprilia I haven’t really ever got to use. Extremely upsetting.

App Crashes iPhone 13 Pro Max
App will not open when using the latest iPhone iOS, will there be an update to fix this and to include the latest year Aprilia motorcycles?
Stopped working on iPhone
It was working great but few months ago it stopped working completely. I tried it on two different iPhones with the same result. With an Android, it does not connect to the Bluetooth. I hope they can fix it. When it works, it’s great.
Doesn’t open at all
This app used to work (sort of) on a 2017 Aprilia RSV4 RF. Now it will not launch on an iPhone wherein worked (sort of) before.
Piaggio has the worst customer service. I’ve owned three Aprilia motorcycles but I wouldn’t recommend because of their poor support. Love the bike, detest the company and dealers that service them.

App Doesn’t Work AT ALL
The app doesn’t work. Not even a tiny bit. It doesn’t even open on the new iPhones whatsoever. Don’t waste your time even trying to download it.
Can’t connect to my 2020 rsv4 factory
Using version for 2017 rsv4 and can’t connect it to my 2020 via Bluetooth is there update for 2020 rsv4 factory?
App Crashes when I click settings to connect Sena
App keeps crashing. I’ve tried deleting, reinstalling, “forgetting this Bluetooth device”, etc. It won’t let me connect my headset. Very poor app. I expected better from Aprilia.
This app needs to be fixed!
Same problem as other reviewers. I can’t add my helmet comms via the App as I constantly crashes.
The worst motorcycle app
I’m an avid rider, and an Aprilia owner (‘19 Shiver) and I wanted this to work, but it doesn’t, not even a little bit. I try most any moto specific app that hits the market, and this takes the cake as worst. The nav never, and I mean never works. Functionality? There is none. Just don’t even bother with it. Aprilia clearly doesn’t care about this feature on their bikes.

I just got a 2019 RSV4 and it’s not on the setup selection.
Some of it works
Map button for navigation still doesn’t work. Reid while connected to the motorcycle and away from it. One of the main reasons I purchased the AMP for my bike and it’s a totally useless feature.
App still crashes
I’ve been waiting for 7 months for this app to be fixed. It still crashes when I try to config Bluetooth devices with it. It looks like 2 updates were made over the last 2 weeks and nothing has changed. It no longer fits on my iPhone XS screen. Some of the words are getting cut off. I am trying to use this with a 2018 Tuono. Please help.

Will not pair headset
Connects to the motorcycle fine but will not connect with a Bluetooth headset using the Settings/Configure/Search menus. Crashes 99% of the time and says “something went wrong, try again” the other 1% of the time. Please fix this!
Waste of Money
I was really excited to get my new AMP unit installed on my Dorsoduro 900, but the app in it’s present state is useless. It not only crashes, but it causes other apps that use GPS to crash as well. I hope Aprilia will address these issues and get a talented team of software developers to give us what we paid for.

Hunk of Junk
I spent $200 for the unit and all the app does is crash. I can’t even connect a headset because it crashes. The developer doesn’t even care to update the app for 2018 Aprila motorcycles. Do not buy the unit if you have a 2018+ Aprilia because this app don’t work.
Update the dash!!??
Since all of us with the 2015-2016 got screwed and didn’t get the tft display or auto blip then atleast update this app so the dash looks like the new tft. The app is cool and has lot of features. But the dashboard looks out dated already, especially looking at the actual dash on the new rsv4.
Can’t Use App
I bought my 2017 RSV4 RF earlier this year and had the app downloaded on my phone before the bike was delivered. When I first got the bike I linked the phone to the bike and all seemed to be going well. Went for my first ride and the App showed 0 data, didn’t recognize speed, lean angle, braking, etc.
I deleted and reinstalled the app and reconnected exactly how the instructions read and it still registered no data.
After the next update, I decided to try again and now it tells me I have to update the firmware on my bike to a newer version. I live more than 500 miles to the nearest dealer and can’t just bring the bike in for the update.
I track ride regularly and would love to get the full functionality from the app and bike but that doesn’t seem to be an option until I take a 1000 mile + trip to Las Vegas to get the bike updated. And then there’s still a big “if it will work”.

Settings screen crashes out every time
This app is headed in the right direction, but you can’t effectively pair more than your smartphone to it because when you go to the settings screen as instructed it immediately crashes out every time.
