Vakit 2.2 opens a Library of 180+ works and brings audio lessons to learn to read the Quran. New • Library: 180+ works on topic shelves, 50+ in English. Read offline once downloaded and pick up where you left off. • Learn to read the Quran: audio Elifba lessons, from the letters to tajweed. Tap a letter to hear it. • Quran subject index: 20 main topics and 900+ subtopics, with verses in your chosen translation. • Quranic duas and 48 passages for occasions from nikah to funerals: read, listen, bookmark. • Hadith now in 16 languages, plus new tafsir and translation sources. • Prayers you didn't mark can be added to your qada; prayer tracking can be switched off; Accounting shows the days you reached your goal. • Renewed Friday notifications, from Thursday evening to Friday's Asr. • Quran Book View: show or hide the Arabic, transliteration and translation separately and read page by page; long-press a verse to listen, bookmark or open tafsir. Improvements • The Fajr Adhan time now sits under the Fajr row instead of a separate row. • Scroll freely while a recitation plays; the playing verse and sajdah verses stand out. • The mushaf looks like a printed copy: frame, juz and surah heading, page number, illuminated surah headers; two facing pages on iPad, landscape on iPhone. • Long-press a prayer notification to read the full verse or hadith. • Two ready-made Quran playlists: short surahs recited in prayer and frequently read surahs. • "Repeat list" for playlists: when the last surah ends, the list starts over. • When your downloaded content has an update, the prayer screen lists it with sizes; update in one tap. • Downloads show their progress at the bottom of the screen; tap to see all of them and cancel any. • The wudu guide is now narrated in 18 languages with a natural voice. Fixes • Fixed a freeze at launch on some devices; faster start, less battery, and prayer notifications no longer go missing. • Letter tails cut off in the Medina mushaf are drawn in full again. • Your chosen Quran and hadith translations stay put across devices; Turkish mushaf page numbers now match the printed copy.
