This App predicts almond bloom progression once bloom has started (first open blooms in the interior of the orchard). This new tool utilizes machine learning technology, orchard-specific data, and localized weather data. This App provides a prediction of when to apply ReTain® Plant Growth Regulator for California to correspond with 30% to 60% bloom, which research has shown is the best timing to apply ReTain in almonds to maximize the potential for fruit set.

This App requires the creation of a user account for log-in and app function and is intended for users of ReTain in California almonds only. This app allows California Farmers and Growers to predict almond bloom time so they can effective and maximize use of Valent ReTain products. Instructions to apply ReTain must be followed to the step. In addition, this app is only applicable for selected QA Team members. This version 2.69 of the app contains various production bugs fixes and enhancements including addition of password eye buttons.
