First and last time using the app
The price went from 3.59 before I activated the app and activated pump through the app /- went to 3.74. Ridiculous!!!! I wish I could ZERO stars.
Appreciate the .15 a gal off
Price at the pump $3.79 a gallon. On the 25th supposedly giving you $.25 a gallon off but final sale on my receipt says $3.64 a gallon. Either somebody doesn’t know how to subtract or I just got ripped $.10 a gallon. like I said I do appreciate the $.15 but it’d be nice if I had .25 as promoted.
Can’t see the bill on the app
I just recently got this card so the only complaint I have right now is that you can’t see the bill on the app! Maybe my other credit cards have me spoiled by this is the only card that I can’t see the transactions or the bill! So, I probably won’t use it much!
Can not change my email address
Tried... Error occurred. Deleted app and started over. Logged in wouldn't let me change my email.
Started over again with new account. Accepted email address but error occurred on phone number entry.

Useless app
Added my credit card and had apple pay as default as well, arrived at the station, selected the pump and payment method, nothing… couldn’t validate the card, tried with apple pay… the same, then got a message saying to try in 24 hours… i guess i will be sleeping here at the pump and try again tomorrow, hopefully it works… wish me luck!

I used the app and was still charge the credit card amount, so why get the app???????
Disappointed
Not the same since update. I miss it showing prices. That was the best feature of the app. Not knowing is very frustrating.
Account Issues
I needed to change my email address for my app. In the account profile section, there’s a spot that literally says “Change email address”. If you click it, it asks you to enter the new address, then again to verify it. I did this but kept getting an error message saying something went wrong. I contacted customer service and they told me you can’t change your email…so why is it even an option? Not to mention, it’s 2026, you can’t change something as simple as an email? The solution was to delete the account and make a whole new one with the new email. - yeah, I’ll delete my account but I’ll pass on the new one.

No discount
I went inside to pay at a Circle K that sells Valero gas. No one inside new how to use the Valero app to pay for gas only. Went to pay at the pump and the app worked but I received no discount on the gas. Not a fan of this app as this is the second time I received no discount on gas and there are cheaper stations nearby.

Great app but
Help. I’ve used the app for years and it was fabulous. Recently it updated. When it did, the app does not show gas prices at the individual stores. It used too. Or am i missing something? Please fix this.

Gas prices?
No more gas prices. The best feature of this app was purposefully removed at the time we need it the most. Shame.
App bug
Everytime I tried using the app to get gas it was say error and say try again I’m 24 hours prior to not using it all that day.
Convenient
Not sure why I waited so long to start using Valero Pay. It was easy to get the app and sign up was a breeze. I didn't even have to do anything to connect it to my Apple Pay as it's a pay option within the app. It's easy to use and today I saved 15 cents a gallon! In these high fuel price times, this really helps!

Fuel pump
So the app will lock you out if you try to use it and the pump is out of order but to sign. They you try another pump and it locks you out for 24 hours!!!! Why not an hour?!? 24hours!! Ridiculous! And of course it’s .25off and how convenient that is locks you out for 24hours!
Gas price
I do like this app. I just wish it would tell you how much the gas is at each location like it used to
App doesn’t give discount at pump
The app is not giving the discount at gas stations that are listed on the app. It keeps canceling. Also there is no settings in the app. As the FAQ says “in the ValeroPay+ app by navigating to Settings and selecting Help/About”.
