Hard to figure out
Okay. I admit, this the ui is good. Love the chibis. Only thing is, its too freaking complicated. I have no idea how to do the battles, and all I can do is press auto…. Wheres the fun in that? Plus, the outfits are sooo revealing its gross!
Literally unplayable
I attempted this because i was a fan of the first one. What a disappointment. I couldn't even get past the very first fight. It tells you to tap on the enemy in the red square. Simple, right? So i do…only nothing happens. The arrow pointing to the enemy is still there along with the prompt. So i try again…same thing. I click again and again, even exiting out of the game and redownloaded the app, with the same results. I got so frustrated i started tapping on everything i could, but nothing happened. It was like the game was frozen, only sometimes the squares would highlight randomly (never the enemy one, though) and all the sprite animations were still running. Not sure if this is a bug or what, but it soured my experience immediately. First impressions are the make or break for a game, and this was definitely broken.

Dont waste your time. Developers gave up on their game before it even had a chance 3 months approximately. They have a history of doing that, avoid their games and future releases they’ll just quit on that too.

Games locks up on tutorial
Game gives me the first set of instructions, but won’t register my taps when I go to ‘attack the enemy’. I can see the cursor register when I tap on other areas of the tactical grid, but not the enemy the tutorial says to attack. Progress blocked, cannot get into game. Shame, art looks cool.
Coming from Valiant Force… v2 is disapponting
I was a massive fan of Valiant Force. So when it shut down I was really bummed, and when I heard Valiant Force 2 was coming out, I was so excited.
Unfortunately it is very disappointing. Good thing first: the new link system and battle system is quite fun, but also not really something that would draw me in long term, at least not by itself.
The story is drawn out and so very boring, so much so that I started skipping shortly into the game. I tried to re-engage with the story but it just got nowhere. And then suddenly Valiant Force 2 is just another gacha game with a single draw and everything else is bland. The upgrade systems are uninspiring and there is no real sense of achievement or me wanting to strive for something. It is just a chore playing the game.
The art at a glance is nicer than v1, but character-wise, looks like a downgrade. Specifically the SSR characters. Freya is one of the worse examples. Ironically the lower rarity characters look pretty good. But yeah coming from some beautiful characters in v1, v2 character art is very meh.

Not Very Optimized
Game heats your phone up incredibly fast to a point where it just feels like you are holding a mini oven in your hands. Sometimes the game can freeze, or animations completely break. Those are currently the more major problems right now. Otherwise, enjoy the game if you’d like.
Fair and Engaging
A rare gem in the gacha scene that has good story, great art, fun gameplay and doesn’t feel like its constantly trying to rob you blind.
The dynamic between the main two characters has been very enjoyable, the story has been fairly engaging. Early on the, arresting the heroes of the previous game plot is pretty cool due to the dramatic irony of knowing that those heroes are genuinely the good guys. However, if I had any complaints, the game starts to be a bit to self-referential for those of us who never played the first game. Half the plots start feeling like a promo for a game thats no longer available. That said Felix and Elise do a good job of carrying the plot. I’m about halfway through the available story and do hope they add a third long term characters to the dynamic though.
The biggest con for me with gacha games is that they often are so eager to keep selling the audience on the new character of the month that no one ever sticks with the main party long enough to really get attached to. The old Valients are re-occurring, but its hard to get fully attached to characters whom I constantly feel like I am missing half if the story of.

Great Gameplay
Go through the story and events and you get enough resources for free summons
Very big level cap please fix
Very insane level cap for example my characters I control are level 20 and there fighting a boss at level 26 and I can’t further them until I eliminate the boss so I can gain access to the airship please fix this devs not sure how it was allowed but kinda stupid play on your part

Nice graphics and quality story with strategic yet simple gameplay
The game is Great but has to fix the bugs asap
Starting to love & enjoy the game. However, there are too much bugs and errors. Boss vanished, force stop.. etc. After I beat the boss of 13-9 stage, forced stop again and couldn’t get back to the game.

Great game and developers listen to suggestions
Recently played the game in an up to date device and the game runs very smoothly. Currency seems very abundant right now but the events could use some work! Doesn't seem rewarding. Upgrading units past your main 5 is difficult and takes awhile. More upgrade mats would be welcome!
Overall the game is fun and challenging. Aura system encourages team building (even tho upgrading new chars is hard), character art is really nice. Hoping for new banners soon!

Slow game flow
Compared to most games today, everything comes slowly: text, battle, progress, loading, etc etc. Its a beautiful game art wise, but the chibis lack that translation. Each battle takes awhile and having to repeat battles just to get the heroic stars for chests is a real turn off, and the heroic battles are just the same battles with enemies having skills. I would expect an added element or something more appealing like finishing before a certain turn or more enemies and whatnot. Character skills are basic and everyone basically has the same skills depending on their class so customization seems lackluster. Aura links take so long to the already slow paced battles and lack real progression unless its a healing or attacking aura link. Debuffs and buffs rarely even make it so it takes one more/less attack to kill or save your unit. Im on Chapter 8 and needing to advance the airship takes forever. I like the design and what the developers were going for but the “slowness” is making me lose interest quick after playing for two weeks.

So far, this might be the best mobile game I’ve ever played. Bong.
What a waste of time
Let’s be honest not the greatest tactical rpg on the app market WotV is superior in almost every way gameplay, graphics, visual, story, music, customer service and polish this game has freezing issues aswell because of animated cutscenes fail to load at times doing specials. The gacha rates are atrocious definitely worst than the listed 3% (i had 42 10x rolls consecutive and not a single ssr), pity is at 200 pulls which is very bad on timed banners. WotV is superior with its pity system which is arguably the best in the gacha market Valiant Force 2 is Genshin tier rates with a worse pity system. Really not worth the time, when there are far better quality gaming options…

Decent game. Worst case you delete it.
Game is unplayable
I’m a huge fan of tactics games, and I really wanted to like, and spend money on this game. The problem is, it’s not sustainable at all. The game overheats phones easily, stages freeze, and sometimes the game won’t load where it froze so you have to restart. It’s really a shame because aside the objectification of some of the women in the game, it’s a very solid tactics concept. The studio behind this really fumbled releasing with all of these bugs. Hope they get it right before having to shut it down. Truly a missed opportunity.
