Fan Service + Bad Netcode
I want to like it, just for the gameplay, but the rest of the game is so bad I cannot bring myself to leave it installed on my device.
You have to agree to pretty draconian ToS to start with (not legally enforceable, but since they are a Chinese company, they will probably do that, and worse, without telling you). Then, the fan service begins just seconds into the story starting. And, it’s pretty ridiculous fan service. Every single character seems to be walking on a huge fan (pointed upwards) that they cannot escape from.
They chat forever, leaving us with gems like, “In my mind, females and guns just don’t go together.” I started skipping the story within 7 taps, a new record for me.
The monetization is awful as expected. You have quite a few different currencies, and then, my favorite, you have to use one currency to buy another, to BUY ANOTHER, to then get what you want. Every purchase along the way will be mathematically proven to be the worst amount given per currency spent.
The gameplay, again which I do like, is terribly marred with VERY frequent “getting game data” WHILE playing (and this is a real-time game).
