Fun game, horrible player base
This game is fun for a few weeks, but the world is dominated by guilds that have thousands of cities and attack new players just getting off the ground.
This results in a terrible experience where people with millions of resources just demolish anything you try to build for no other reason than to add to their literally thousands of existing cities.
The truce is nice, but it just delays your death by 24 hours.
The worst part is you can’t even message them if you aren’t in the guild to ask for peace or mercy.
Would’ve loved to keep playing but it feels pointless to start from scratch knowing the same player will just keep eating up anything you create.

Pay to play
Use to be a fun game to play. But, due to the ongoing issue of the “explicit” players that spend tons of money. They have made it impossible to play and enjoy. They pay to play big money, so unless you are willing to do the same, they do not give you the chance to actually play and enjoy. Do not recommend.

Don’t waste your time.
This is a fun game, but stay away. The game is ruined by the admins. You’ll have a perfectly good world with a nice war building up and they will join, bring their crew, handout the endless admin gold they have to their team to get ahead of everybody and then bully. Even stooped low enough to bully the guy with a mental disability (everybody in the community knows this guy) who’s just trying to learn and enjoy the game. Take your money elsewhere these guys don’t deserve it. If you happen to avoid the admins and win a world, it doesn’t matter. The gold you get for a win will be delayed for 3-4 months and even longer if you are playing in a different world against those admins so you can’t use the win gold against them. Any titles you were supposed to receive for winning also are often forgotten about. (Unless you want to Venmo the owner a few thousand to avoid going through the Apple Store and get a massive chunk of gold to play with he may pay attention to your requests). Thanks Carnage for ruining a good game.

Can’t even register to start playing
I’ve been playing valor for years. Now that the original value has been abandoned by the devs, this seems to be the only value that gets any attention from the devs.. however, the game requires you to register to start playing and I out my info in and I get an error message saying I need to validate my email first. Ok, but no email gets sent to me to validate 🤦♂️ why have they abandoned such a great game?

My favorite game
Used to play it a long time ago and go back into it. It’s still great I guess they took a hiatus for some years and are back online now. I wish the developers would send updates for what they’re working on or if the barb worlds are coming back but otherwise great game

Devs promise fixes for money
Devs have promised fixes to the community to promote in game purchases. The game is not functional and yet they respond with a currency sale instead of fixes. They relaunched the game to raise more money and relaunch has broken the game further. This is a money sink. Save yours and spend it on another game.

Game used to be great
This game is one of a kind and used to be great. Since this game has gone massively down hill have been promised for over a year bugs have been fixed and constantly they keep happening. To play this game well you have to buy gold, and instead of fixing the game the owners rake in cash while people continue ti spend on a broken game and refuse to make efforts to fix the game

Valor: Because nothing says “fun” like kakao-yelling at strangers while frantically tapping your screen and pretending strategy matters. It’s chess for people with commitment issues and Wi-Fi rage. Build an empire! Lose it overnight to a guy named “xXDragonLord69Xx.” Sleep is for quitters. So is sanity. 10/10.

Bugs and cheating
The game has a lot of glitches, which are apparently getting worked in, since 2013… Also there is rampant cheating in the game, people duping the app on emulators to have dozens of accounts. The game dev is perfectly ok with it and refuses to punish people who cheat, it’s killing the game.

The original Valor app, even though it’s no longer getting new worlds, runs better and with less bugs than Reforged. Also there is a very poor system of communication within the game not just for player to player but also basically no way to communicate or gain information about the game from the app itself. It has more bugs than I can count on two hands and they don’t ever seem to get fixed. The worlds are many times too fast, too short, and pretty much all the time dominated by a group of people already previously in a guild. And to bring up the guilds. You’re screwed if you don’t get in one and even if you do, unless your spending money on coin to boost and/or constantly on the game & in one of the many third party communication apps they like to use, your basically just fodder for other people who have a previous group who no life the game and have sometimes anywhere from 2-10 alternate accounts to further boost and monopolize the entire world. Not always fair. I recommend to new players don’t use a single free coin you get until you have found one of the very few rare worlds where you actually have a chance of winning and not wasting every coin/$ you put into this mess. But in the end the potential and everything you could want is there. It just needs some more work polishing up the many issues. If there was one thing I would like most of all is for better communication between player and the system on basic information about the game, help with bugs & issues, dates & times of worlds, and so on.

Ignore reviews from years ago this game is superb, yes it had some problems with old owners but now very much back on track coupled with the Community on Discord I rate it 5 with more improvements on the way.

I just joined up again after seeing its back! Love this game so I hope that I’m not wasting my time. Is it truly back? Or is it just a shell of what it once was?
