Must have been playing 20+ years. Valor Trial by Sword was working up to about 3/24/26. Now is always ‘We’re busy updating Valor for you and will be back shortly’ Is it over?

I used to play this game years back. It was great. I tried getting back into it again; however, it’s not working like it’s supposed to. The worlds don’t exist. I’m unable to join any new worlds. I got put into the same world I was in 5+ years back with a baby city amongst huge players. So far, it seems like it might be a dead server /world, but let’s see.

Best game app by far. Has a great selection of different speed worlds. Amazing bonds are created through playing together as a team against others. With a great and welcoming community
Unplayable
Game used to be great. Now with the ownership neglecting the game it has become unplayable. This coming from a 10 year player. This app should be removed from the apple App Store. Google has already removed it from the play store.
A game with high potential and from what it used to be. A great example how a bad ownership group can ruin a good game. At this point every dollar they receive from Valor is theft.

Great concept but terrible implementation.
The game itself is great, there are a few bugs and iOS has an update that android lacks. The reason the game is being given one star is because it is largely pay to win, and the community is so competitive that they will do anything to capture your city when you are not playing. Free 8 hr shields and it may get 3 stars, but beyond that you’ll have to buy them from me

I've played this game for about 9 years.
It's had its ups and downs, and it's changed hands many times. Playmesh was good, and since quark took over, the games gone downhill. My review is based on developer support, or actually the lack of.
I have a game related issue.. And I emailed support for help. It's been over a week and no reply.
Go into app and log in to ask a question for support? That's my issue, the app won't let me register. So I'll post here, maybe they'll pay attention.

Don’t Bother
This was once one of my favorite games. I have made lots of friends on this game as well. It’s really sad that it’s turned into two main groups fighting back and forth. No desire to bring in new players while others slowly leave. For once I can say that in my 8+ years of playing Valor, I’m done. The worlds don’t last long enough and there is no where near enough players to get the true old school valor experience.
If you’re looking for a game don’t choose this one. They don’t care about new players and won’t help you. I really hope someone can save this game because it was AMAZING but that was a long time ago.

Negative experience
Played a world with my brother for the first time in a year. Spent 150$ on the game and one night our accounts get frozen. The enemy team for some reason could still access their accounts and move troops around and reset a couple of our players which eventually turned the world because it was a small one.
When asked about what we could do to help fix the problem I was told “we’ve had these problems for years and that we need to file support requests more timely”

I don’t like the way the new owners are directing this game. When I started 10 years ago, worlds had 60,000 players. Now, I only see 4000 average in a new world. There were legendary worlds which went for a long time. Now worlds finish in 2 days. Even guild worlds were months long. How can new players get the flavor of the old worlds when the direction is toward fast games? I would like the game to be corrected as other apps improve their quality and keep up with the times. I don’t see the mistakes corrected or improved. Hire better software engineers. I don’t see how having only 4000 players in a new world beats 60,000 players in the old worlds. A 94% reduction in players would also mean lower revenue. Bring the fun back. Maybe you will get older players like me to keep playing.

Find a different game!!!
The game has to many bugs! You may be lock out for days and other players will capture your cities. Valor has different worlds, but amazing they will change the rules in the middle of the game. Support is just not good!
Incredible but hard
This game is by far one of the most unique and difficult games on the App Store.... It took a month or two before I started to get down the basics. But I’m so glad I stuck with it. The community is fantastic. Valor isn’t a very noob friendly game, but once you start to get it down it is one of the most enjoyable games out there!

Could be a lot better
Grate idea with being able to win a world. The issue is the few worlds there are in the are already being controlled by a few guilds and when they want to wipe you out it’s over. You can’t even try. Because they are so powerful you will be totally wiped in minutes. And the better you do the bigger a target because they get everything you have done.

A Good Game that has it's problems
I enjoy the game and I've been playing along time. The game lock ups are killing me. To many times I have to delete the game and reinstall. Some threads in forums shut the game off and many times I can not reply to my own threads. I would give the game a 5 if not for the glitches.
What a load of crap
Two weeks in and I went out of town for two days and it booted me out of my city and wanted me to start over. No thanks.

The game is dominated by players who are willing to receive alerts on their phones 24/7. If you have a job or a family, or a social life do yourself a favor and just don't. 95% of casual players just become farms. over it!

I have been playing since world 28 and after all these years there is no game quite like valor. If you can get pass the outdated graphic and bugs Valor can become very addiction. The pro and con of valor is that it is a guild driven game, it is nearly impossible for you to solo and win the a world by yourself.
If you are a new player looking for a hardcore, high risk, high reward strategy game then look no further. If you are a veteran, then it is great time to come back and support the game you love.
The new designers and owners are keeping true to the origin and is mad at work improving our game. The customer support is on point. They replied back by e-mail within seconds on a SUNDAY! New owners
This used to be a good game that I enjoyed. Now that the new owners have got evolved it has went to crap! If you implement new rule it should be in new worlds. Instead of banning people that have been playing by the rules until you Chang them! 1 star and I would go lower if possible!
