THIS APP IS A SCAM
I added funds and they never reflected, they stole my 158$. Their support doesn't work it's a scam
Got scammed.
I opened this account deposited money. Next thing I know it was gone. Luckily was only 200 thought it invest 1000 thank god did not. I tried contacting support but nothing. Reported to Coinbase and the FBI division of cybe crimes please stay away.
Holds coins captive
This app will generate a wallet for you but will never show you the key! Only a recovery phrase that can be used in their app. This is a huge red flag and it means they can stop you from moving your coins with a different app! Apps like this often start charging their own fees once they get a huge user base with a lot of value in their wallets. You get locked in and theres no way to get your coins out without paying them. Be careful and do not use this app to store a lot of value!

Not perfect yet but wow this thing has some good bones .. can earn crypto while supporting good causes and what they are attempting to do in Africa is going to be the cherry on the crown . Hope they invent an in wallet pay as you go credit card .. be awsome to hit a button at the top of the screen and swap a crypto into cash equivalent that can be used in the real world . Still haven’t bridged the etherium network completely with the celo network .. ps work around would be to have that loadable card act as the middle man .. transfer celo to the card and then from the card as a cash buy into etherium . The ecosystem wins and so do the users.

Can’t get money out/try’s to lock you out.
The app will only let you transfer money to two apps. Then after you have logged in with a password for years, they lock you out if you don’t have a recovery code.
Very unstable
Im scared to update the app since it frequently breaks features or removes them entirely. Last time i updated the "swap" section was gone 🤡🤡🤡

I'm posting this review again as they erased my review. That sent huge red flags be careful don't put your money in this app!! Finally they responded to my request after 48 hrs wait and did not help me recover my money, lost $98 USD! _______ORIGINAL REVIEW______ I sent cUSD by mistake to a CELO (CB) wallet (which happens to be mine). I missed the step where you must convert the cUSD to CELO. Since then, I've sent several messages to support, I opened the chat and after more than 12 hours still no response. It's been 24 hours since the transfer which appears to be stuck in the network going nowhere. I contacted (CB) support, through reddit and through (CB) chat and the one from the chat said he could see my transaction hash but could not access it because it was stuck on the CELO network. He said he would be able to do something if it was on the ERC-20 network. I'm not sure I understand what that means but I'm so upset about this that I took all my CELO assets and sent them to (CB)... (CB) team is always on point and ready to help. Sad, because I had gotten used to the Valora rewards, but this is a significant loss for me $98 American dollars, no amount of reward can justify a big loss like that. I do NOT recommend Valora, use (CB) instead.

Getting Better and Better
I’m enjoying this app, the dashboard got a new easier look, the rewards are always on time and they are offering more ways to maximize returns, can’t wait for more good things coming so I can take advantage.
Can’t do anything!
Swap is constantly failing or unavailable. Wallet has trouble connecting to any swap and will not perform any transactions. Sent multiple contacts to support and nothing gets fixed. If you love celo than find a better wallet than this one. Too many problems.
Third party fees are discouraging.
Why would I deposit money for a fee?

Great App
One of the most user friendly apps Ive used in crypto. But beware, there are still easy mistake that can cost you lots of money. The biggest mistake, pay attention to where you send cUSD or CELO. Make sure the one youre sending compatible with the receiving wallet. For instance you can only send CELO to this wallet from Coinbase. You can only send CELO to coinbase. Coinbase also does not accept cUSD. VALORA does not accept ETH. Etc, etc. ALWAYS double check the token and the wallet compatibility.

Useful Mobile Wallet
I’m new to crypto. I found the Valora wallet for Celo is the easiest wallet for someone with just a mobile phone. I can interact with all the dapps on Celo easily. The support team is also friendly.
