Just crashes
Doesn’t do anything. Doesn’t even open the camera. Hit the start button and it crashes.
What was the point?
The app literally doesn’t do anything… it didn’t even “scan” my envelope. It just played an add for the exact thing I was doing. On repeat. ?? You couldn’t have just done a QR code?? This was a giant waste of everyone’s time. Tell your marketing team or whoever thought this up to look into other career options.

Not necessary
You don’t need the app to look in the envelope for money. The app does literally what the envelope says: lets you hear from other winners.

Most pointless app ever STILL TRUE
I read the reviews and saw a review posted from four years ago that said that this was the most pointless app ever. That you point your camera at the envelope and it never tells you anything except a stupid video. That the app does absolutely nothing else. It’s still true. Terrible.
Scam?????
I use coupons from the Valpak. When I saw I could win $100, I started looking on how to win it. Like the other review said, there isn’t anything to scan. Just a bunch a pretty circles popping up. Cannot find out what to scan to win. Bursted my bubble of going out for a prime rib dinner with my honey.

Works as advertised
The envelope has a “yes it’s real” box inside that if you scan it the app plays a little blurb about the $100 check that COULD be inside. Another feature of the app requires you to accept location services so that the app can tell you where there are deals local to you at that moment. If you see a company that you may use, you tap on that companies box and it displays what the deal is.

Glitchy & Doesn’t tell you if you won or not
There’s no medication of where exactly to scan so you just get little dots as you point it at the words. Once you finally find the “sweet spot” it sparkles blue lights and then gives you a glitchy video and a “3D” (that’s being generous) image of a flier advertising ValPack. What a joke.

I had hoped they would fix it but they didn’t so I’m deleting as soon as I’m done writing this.
Just An Advertising Ploy
I don’t get what the point of this even is. Once it triggers, it only plays an advertisement video on loop of you doing EXACTLY THIS, and lets you hear from their “winners”...

It has an asterisk (*) next to the notice on the inside stating the $100 thing, and if you look for it on the back of the envelope it states, “NO PURCHASE NECESSARY...$100 checks are randomly inserted. 1 in 50,000 envelopes has a check inside...”
The app in no way makes it tell if you won or lost, it’s JUST an advertisement to hear testimonials. Delete it and save yourself some space. If you actually won, THE PHYSICAL CHECK IS IN THE ENVELOPE. So open up the ValPak each time they clog your mail box, and if it isn’t there, proceed to do what it use they do best; fire-starter kindling.

Worthless Waste Of Time
Don’t bother. Doesn’t work. Ask anyone who’s tried using this app. Not one person has gotten this app to work. Perhaps the only reason it exists is to mine your data and location.

A bait and switch app
App seemingly is made for sole purpose of being added to your phone, allowing access to your location and camera in the hopes you forget about it and it can track you around for eternity. Doesn’t scan envelope just wastes a minute of your time. DO NOT DOWNLOAD - will be flagging this app to Apple in hopes they come down on developers for this absurd of a data mining scheme.

Just an ad for them
It just scans up and down for 2 minutes then launched an ad for Valpak.
Useless
I followed the directions on the envelope and it kept glitching. Finally got it to work and it was just a short video that said the same thing in the envelope. The 3D scan didn’t do anything. The instructions for that is unclear. Will most likely delete this, so called, app.
Don’t bother with this app.
It does nothing other than play a very poor quality video and overlay animated little sparkles all over the ads and envelope. That’s it. That’s all. Don’t waste your time or phone space.

I mean, it doesn’t do anything other than what it says to do. It does AR for coupons and the envelope. To be clear, to scan you envelope, you have to scan the inside.
