Really good! Falling a bit behind though.

This app is far better than any of the fillable character sheet pdf’s I’ve been able to find, and used together with the paradox wiki it’s been really easy to conceptualize characters and store them all in one place.

Now I notice the last update and even all the recent reviews are from a year ago, but it’d be great to see this app get some more attention with some of the recent source books that have come out, it gets janky when the app doesn’t have the discipline power you want, or especially when you want to take extra powers using the ingrained discipline flaw variant rules.

Over all still a great tool though!

Great tool!

This app is a really great tool to help newcomers make a character quickly without flipping through a book other than for the merits and flaws section. Other than that my only complaint is that there isn’t a Hunter and Werewolf version of the app!

Input on the game

I enjoyed creating characters with this app, however I would like to see some loresheets maybe more discipline ability options and maybe some more merits and flaws

Perfection

Simple to use. Great for new players to have all the simple terminology as a quick reference for their character creations :)

Wonderful

An absolute wonderful app. Significantly better than some browser generators I have used. This is top notch. I agree with another reviewer that said the Merits and Flaws section are text boxes that leaves you at the mercy of whatever wiki page you are using for reference, but honestly, that is just about it. The only other thing I might like to see in an update is an ability to add a portrait. But really, that’s a small matter. The ability to easily edit after generation is also a boon. I would have paid for this it is so much better than anything else I was using before.

ALMOST perfect.

If this app has ONE SINGLE FLAW its (ironically) in the merits and flaws section. Currently there is no list of merits and flaws the app expects you to research those yourself. Which is a slight problem because, assuming you dont own the books, it entirely depends on which wiki page you happen to have open at the time. This also just a problem with VtM in general. Searching merits and flaws leaves me with ZERO knowledge on what version things are or whats compatible. And in fact i recently made a character on this app where something in my background forced me to have the “Clan Infiltrator (3)” merit and the “angry beast (2)” flaw. Neither of these show up AT ALL in google searches so i have no idea what they do. Ultimately to make an effective character will require HEAVY consultation from a GM which is unfortunate for someone like me who makes characters as a hobby. Literally this is the ONLY problem i have with this app and i know its still (hopefully) under construction so i hope it gets added in the future.

Comprehensive V5 Creator

This is the most comprehensive V5 creator available currently. It’s a little behind on what source books have been added but it’s one developer who’s done great work. I use it all the time without issue.

Love this app so far

All i would need at this point is character art

Definitely Useful

Easy to use, and very helpful. Thanks for the app!

Great

I just downloaded and made my character in few minutes! I
I find out that my Hecata couldn’t have Dominate at the start but after prepared is just go back and change it.

A must-have for fans of V5

This thing is an absolute godsend to everyone who likes to jot down their character ideas on the go, or doesn’t like to use paper. I’ve used apps like Fight Club 5e for dungeons and dragons, because I do not appreciate the business practice of D&DBeyond and the WoD Nexus. I think it’s gross I would have to pay for everything twice. This app is definitely better in the sense that I do need the books for some of the finer details, so it doesn’t replace owning the original materials. However, it does make a great companion for quickly making characters and keeping track of some concepts you might have for later. The character creator is really intuitive and easy to use. I can’t say I’ve ever used the dice roller but I’m sure it’s probably fine. I will have to look into that after this review is done.

My biggest wish for this app is that hopefully we can one day get some support for the other games in the world of darkness. So far I’ve been able to make do writing down my werewolf concepts, and my Hunter concepts, but I would really love to see some support for the other games. I’m sure it’s only a matter of time before we get Mage and Wraith back, so I would love to see them supported in either this or an app like it.

Some minor things I really appreciate that this app does: sided sources for discipline powers ,Android and Apple support, very easy import, and export files between devices

Very minor suggestions for tweaks: Including a system for XP expenditure would be really helpful for those who don’t have the XP cost chart memorized. I’ve been playing long enough that I don’t need it, but it would be very helpful for newer players.

When will it be updated?

My friends have an android and they’ve told me that an update has come out with new disciplines! Is it possible we can have it be available for an iOS version? Or is it already in the works? I’d love to hear what you have to say!

Nice app, but

I am loving this one in comparison to the limited ones available. However, the dice rolling feature has an issue. When you go to change the dice pool, it doesn’t go away upon entering the value and there’s no button to get out of it. The character sheet function is excellent though!!

Great App

Awesome tool, helped me for character creation and keeping track of my npcs

Absolutely love

Would love to see this continue to be updated but so far i love it

Needs options for homebrew

Really cool, but needs an option for homebrew

The best VTM tool available at the moment!

Me and my friends were coordinating a v5 game over discord, only to discover that some players didn’t have printers for their character sheets. We searched online for a formfillable version that had everything we needed, but after multiple days of searching to no avail, we were at a loss. As a last-ditch hail-mary, I decided to check if there were any apps for v5 character sheets- and found this AMAZING tool! It not only lets you create, save, and export characters easily, but I the step-by-step guidance system helps you walk new players through the character creation process. It’s brilliant and incredibly useful.

There are a lot of features I want and think would be helpful, but it would feel disingenuous to lower my score based on the app not having features it never promised in the first place. Still, I feel compelled to list them here, just in case the developer is reading and has the time/energy to implement any of these:

• An in-app dice roller that allows you to select the combination of skills and attributes required for said roll
• The ability to add notes under advantages and flaws, either to add details like the name of a contact, or to describe what the advantage/flaw enables/affects.
• The ability to add reminder notes under clan banes, such as the type of animal features a Gangrel may get from frenzying, or the specific type of blood a Ventrue character can drink.
• An inventory section on the notes page
• A note on certain disciplines indicating which book they come from, so players don’t inadvertently select skills from books the storyteller doesn’t have and thus can’t look up specific rules for
• The ability to favorite/pin a character sheet to the top of the list
• An option to “skip until later” for steps of character creation. When making a lot of SPCs, I typically just add “TBA” under advantages/flaws until I can go back and hash them out later; the option to temporarily skip a step like that would make the process a lot smoother

Again, these are additional features I feel would make this app even better; NOT necessities I feel it is lacking. The app is great as is, these features would just push it into amazing. Also, not for nothing, I would gladly pay, say, a small monthly fee for some of these features, if that would be necessary to cover development costs.

TL;DR: Amazing app with a lot of great features. A must have if you’re running a V5 vampire game, especially with new players. Highly recommended

Very good but not perfect.

Very great app but I can't seem to find any options for homebrew which would be very helpful.

Great

Such a great app thank you

Fantastic V:tm character creator

This app is very simplistic and easy to understand, it relies on information from the core rulebook so be aware of that, but for a free character creation app, it’s great, no annoying ads, and exports straight to print or file which is handy when you need a character quick and don’t have time to do a sheet by hand, a definite download for V:tm players
