Game locked bug

Played for a few days and it’s quite enjoyable. Now my game is essentially locked as the auto cursor is trying to make me upgrade skills on a character that isn’t recruited. So I can’t complete the task it wants me to and I can’t do anything else.

It could be nice with English or french language like the vidéo i see online but when I open the game everything is in Chinese .
