Right on my first use, there was an adv playing blocking me to use the address bar. I just could not use it. Got rid of it, what a waste of time.
Needs work
Every time I load the app it's preset for a iphone 4. So the top margin loads blank and I have to scroll just to get full screen. Also needs password memory.

If the premium still hasn't loaded after 30 minutes, what good is it?
Can't Use it
There is an ad that goes across the entire address bar and I can't even put in a website to use, which makes the browser useless.

There's an ad that covers the entire screen where you enter in the website. You can't enter in anything at all. Please fix.

Brilliant. This is what Safari on the iPhone should be, with usable tabs, fullscreen and flexible web searching.
There are other browser apps competing with Safari but this app is the 'pick of the bunch', with it's numerous browsing/searching options and intuitive interface, making it a surfer's delight.

Since all browsers are just an old version of safari running a different UI, I'm not going to comment on performance, because it's irrelevant. I downloaded this app to be able to download files from sites, specifically a podcast that my podcast app can't seem to find. I was disappointed to discover that the downloaded file is saved only within the browser, not that this is unexpected given Apple's walled garden. But then, while playing, when my phone would turn off the screen, playback would stop, making the ability to download media files largely useless.
Oh, and those ads at the top of the screen were freaking annoying. This got 30 minutes of use and a delete.
2 stars is only because this can download files and base Safari and Chrome can't do that.

As buggy as iOS 6, many are staying with 5.1.1 until it becomes stable. So you made an ad-based Safari shell and allowed people to move it past their supported device?

Dilettanten am Werk
Ich habe jetzt eine ganze Weile gewartet, ob die Entwickler irgend wann mal registrieren, dass sie mit der neuen Version total Mist gebaut haben, aber jetzt gibt es sogar eine neue Version mit den gleichen Fehlern und damit ist VanillaSurf unbrauchbar. Beim öffnen jeder Web-Seite wird auf 4/5 der Oberfläche etwas angezeigt und der rechte Rand bleibt schwarz.
Außerdem habe ich bereits drei mal KOSTENPFLICHTIG auf die Professional Version umgeschaltet, um mir die Werbung zu ersparen und mit jedem neuen Update ist das wieder futsch... Hier sind wirklich Dilettanten am Werk und was mich wundert, ist, dass Apple hier nicht besser testet bzw. einschreitet...

Loud Video Add
What a surprise, after starting this app a LOUD Full Screen Video Commercial auto-launched with label 'Ads by BrightRoll.' Never-mind the tiny banner add at the top of the browser, this Virus like 30 second Video was full screen With Loud Audio. Turn on Ad-Blocker in settings to avoid this. Now after update App freezes every time.

Perfect so far
So far it runs smooth and is quick to load pages. It comes with many options. I hope they don't change anything unless it's for the better! Usually you find a great app then after updates they go downhill but this one only keeps improving ...... So far ......
