Superior to Plex Dash in every way that matters
I’ve used both Plex Dash and Varys for a little while now, and Varys just outperforms Plex Dash entirely. It loads quicker, the history page is *actually* consistent and accurate (by far my biggest frustration with the Plex Dash app), and the server statistics are more readily accessible and easy to read, with more metadata available to you in comparison. If you’re an avid Plex server manager, the Pro price of $4 (at time of writing) should be an easy decision. A no brainer, superior alternative to the stock Dash app.

Promising but ultimately disappointing
The developer is certainly a homelab user. Feature rich and would likely be better than the plex app if it worked. I get repeated error messages and I haven’t heard back from the support team/developer. App is useless with most basic functions dysfunctional.

It’s got all the features of a service like Tautulli but without having to set up a third party service! Well done I can’t believe this isn’t built into the official plex app

Its a very good app, keeps track of does everything Plex Dash does, why I wanted it is to be able to add users and remove users on the fly and that does not work.

It allows me to manage my server while on the go without laptop access and does it much better than Plex Dash.

Very good App but only recognises DD+ 7.1 as 5.1
This is a really useful app to use with Plex media Server, particularly if you are sharing content friends to actually check how it is serving content and at what quality.
However, it consistently identifies Dolby Digital plus (EAC3) 7.1 channel content as 5.1 even though Sonos connected to my TV correctly decodes & identifies it as 7.1.

Doesn’t work
This use to be great but now it doesn’t work for new tv shows on plex and there is no way to get support. It says go to his website but nothing there.

Varys is amazing
This is my single most used Plex app beyond when viewing my content. It does everything I need and more.

Great App but please update
This is a great app for Plex but currently the app is broken. The restore purchase window keeps on coming up every time you open up the program . The App still works great but the developer, who is MIA and doesn’t reply to email requests, just needs to update the app to fix the purchase issue. We are in desperate need of an update.

The app doesn’t do much different from the native Plex Dash app for me. Also, every time I open it I have to restore my Pro purchase. This happens across devices and is very annoying.
