PDF reader
I love this app I got it when I had an iPhone 4s and been using it since. I just got an iPhone 13 Pro and I searched pdf readers and I couldn’t find it so I downloaded 3 other apps that were terrible then I remember it could be found in download history and I downloaded it and been happy since.

I bought this app and used it for year then it stopped working lost all my books. So I reloaded it “and payed” within so many days it locked all my books and is asking me to pay again! And now I can’t get my stuff out again 😡 don’t not buy this app!!

I paid for it once, reinstalled to a new phone and it didn’t have the registered version anymore. So I paid again, and IT DELETED MY MEMBERSHIP AGAIN!! THIS IS NOT A LEGIT WAY FOR YOU TO MAKE MONEY!! PLEASE RESTORE THE FUNCTIONALITY OR I WILL CONTACT APPLE TO REPORT YOUR SCAM!!!

Would recommend but there are issues
I have purchased this app several times in different versions as it has moved over the years and previous purchases were not always recognised.
Despite the hassle I have had with language packs and previous purchases, it is well worth it and I use it to listen to e-books and PDF papers. I have probably spent days or weeks listening to documents with this, or the prior version of this app. There was some confusion for me as I recently bought this version again and it seems to be identical to what I had before. I did this though since the version I had appeared to lose functionality such as crop that I needed.
Some observations about this app that could be used to improve it-
when the letter E or the letter F are contained within a word, they are often confused and so weird pronunciations occur in words containing those letters sometimes.For example, classification is pronounced clas-e-ication
when a table is contained in a document that has a large, repeating group of numbers, it can be painful to listen to
Same observation with figures that have text embedded in them.
Abbreviations such as e.g. are taken as two words and so there is a pause after the period. This might be difficult to rectify but if these were treated as discrete words, the pronunciation could be fixed.
The same goes for text that proceeds a period anyway such as the first initial of a name, for example.
I just took a break from listening to a book about machine learning using this app so, despite these shortcomings, I would still recommend it although knowing the latest version is confusing at the moment. I actually have both on my phone and have to be careful as to which one I am using since I have content in both.

VBooks PDF VOICE READER US
I was interrupted four times, at least, to rate this App. Can’t see the haste. The first version ( don’t remember if I paid for it) stopped working mysteriously and, although attempts were made to find the reason, I did not get a response.
Transfers, on the first version, were easier than on this one. I could transfer books and had them read. This version is limited only to PDF files and transfers are time consuming. Also, my many books were not recoverable. I would not say I like or dislike it because with the frequent changes, I doubt I will have it for very long.

I have had this app for years and I adore it. Suddenly it won’t open. I need my app back

As a master’s student with visual impairment, this is incredibly essential
I don’t know what I would do without this app. As a person with visual improvement, it has had a profound impact on the way I consume journal article. I could have my journal play on this, whil I highlight on my computer. It is a must for anyone who need to veraciously consume contents. I can speed it up to quickly get an idea of the reading and can slow it down to find key details. I can’t say enough good things about this app.

I have been running into problems on my 7 as well. I’m starting to think this app is no longer supported. It’s a shame because this used to be a really useful app. Now it’s just buggy..

It’s a great app. I found it very helpful to read many different books fast. But it would be great if you add an option to skip words in brackets. It’s very annoying when it reads for me a bunch of citations in bracket. Please fix that’s. thanks
