This app no longer opens and I would like to know if I purchase the $6.99 version if these books will automatically transfer from the free or older version. I reported this issue almost two months ago but I have not received a reply. I would appreciate your assistance,

Will not place hold
This app starts over at the same spot every time you open it and close it I bought it as a e-book reader, but it’s pointless
Didn’t restore PDFs after new phone purchase
I got a new iPhone, but my collection of PDFs did not download.
Restored purchase thru the menu. Nothing.

works on ios18.3/iphone 16 pro
very happy my favourite voice reader still works on my new iphone. It is not as functionally advanced as voicedream reader e.g. choice how app highlights the sentence, word, paragraph it is reading -- but vbooksz does the basics very very well, and has for many years. Rare on app store, developers are trustworthy and maintain their app. Thankyou for maintaining the app over 14 years.

Great app with huge potential
Used to be a great ab with huge potential. It seems that the developer had abandoned the app. No more update releases in the App Store. The crop feature went missing so the app reads irrelevant parts of the pdf like page numbers

This app has become obsolete!!!
They stop caring! This was my GO2 app for studying everywhere literally in my car, doing shores! And now it wont work! I should have paid for another app!!! What a waste of money!!!!
Years of service
I am not sure how many years I have used vBookz. It has always been used to proofread studies I have prepared. Years ago I bought the UK British voice but can no longer acquire it in my app. It allowed me to change up readers and gave me some variation from day to day. Except this language issue, I have no other issues of dissatisfaction. I definitely have recommended your app to others and will continue to do so.

DOES NO WORK AT ALL-OLD
When you want to use it, it keeps asking you to buy eventhough it tells you already purchased it. An infinite loop.

Purchased app, then update removed basic functionality
I bought the app a few years ago, everything worked well, I was a happy customer. Then I was recently forced to upgrade my phone and the latest version of this app got installed and now it is unusable. The voice is very unnatural and stops ever few seconds. I reached out to their support email on their website and got no response. It is pretty unethical to sell a product and then force the user to buy it again because of a “UI” change. I’m looking for another solution, I’d recommend anyone looking for a text to speech app to avoid these con-artists.

Not working on new iOS update

Missing language
I purchased the app 7 years ago and have been using it since. But recently it requires an additional purchase to read in English. I have tried to make the purchase, but it continues to come up as errors. I hope this is fixed soon, because when it functions this is a great product.
Can’t transfer
I upgraded my phone and the app won’t transfer. It is ridiculous to expect to pay again.

Will charge you over and over
I have paid for the full version twice and now it’s still not working and wants to charge me a third time. It’s overall decent but not worth paying for more than once.

Why can’t I crop?
This was my go-to app for reading scripts whil commuting. The old app could crop the tops and bottoms off so it wasn’t reading aloud the headers and footers with every page. The “new” version with “enhanced customization” doesn’t have this feature. I also can’t rename things. I used to be able to say “Int” is interior, “Ext” is exterior and “DR” is doctor. It gets really annoying when it reads “DR HARRIS” as “Drive Harris”. Restore the features you stripped out! The old version was better.

App is asking me to pay again
Very disappointing!
I’ve already paid for an earlier version of this app, after using that version for a while - I’m now asked to pay again for a new version.
This isn’t acceptable and I’ll not use this it anymore as I don’t want to pay twice for the same app.

Will charge you for the app after you pay for it and there is no customer support. DO NO PAY for the FRAUD. Apple, shame you for approving a fraudulent app in your marketplace.

I paid for a subscription, and it is now asking for payment. I had many apps this is only one doing an action.
