V.Church

The Village Church Sunday's gathering, this week's message, and the practice that goes with it. Plus the people to walk it with. DESCRIPTION The Village is a church in Colorado Springs for people exploring faith and for people following Jesus. This app is for the week between Sundays. KNOW WHERE WE'RE GATHERING The next gathering sits on the home screen with the day, the time, and the venue. When a week is different, a Saturday instead of a Sunday, a nine o'clock start, a different room, or a week we're not meeting at all, the app tells you plainly rather than hoping you spotted it. Directions are one tap. The full printed gatherings calendar is there too, and you can save it to your phone. WATCH THE MESSAGES Sunday teachings appear here as they're posted, with the video ready to play. Every message points to something to actually do with it. PRACTICE THE WAY OF JESUS We're less interested in knowing more about Jesus than in learning to live like him. Each practice walks the same arc: hear it, sit with it, try it, then talk about how it went. Mark the days you practiced if it helps you. Nothing counts a streak, nothing awards a badge, and nothing you mark is shared with anyone. PRAY FOR ONE ANOTHER Share a prayer, a celebration, a need, or an announcement. Post anonymously if you'd rather. The only thing anyone can do in response is pray for you. There are no likes, no followers, and no endless feed to fall into. FIND A NEXT STEP WHEN LIFE GETS HEAVY Grief. Mental health. Disability. Foster and adoption. Caregiving. Financial hardship. Each one opens four doors: talk to someone, find community, explore resources, or ask for prayer. Pick whichever is closest. You don't have to explain the whole thing. WE DON'T DO EVERYTHING. WE KNOW WHO DOES The Care Network is a short list of local people and organizations we trust, with what they do and how to reach them. BUILT SO EVERYONE CAN USE IT Every control is a full-size target. Nothing is signaled by color alone. It works with VoiceOver, scales to the largest text sizes, honors Reduce Motion and Increase Contrast, and there's a Plain Language setting that swaps long framing for short, concrete instructions. Venue accessibility is stated on every gathering, not buried. Then put it down The technology supports the life outside it. If you've found your next step, close the app. WHAT'S NEW The first version of The Village app. Sunday gatherings and the full calendar, messages as they're posted, the practices, prayer and celebration from the village, and care paths for the harder seasons.
