Error with vector
I had vector when I first unboxed him the app said network issue with it so i reset it which was annoying and then it said a network issue again and then I tried to troubleshoot it and then it started working
Doesnt work. Unable to login
Why do I need to login to a server, to use this app? Why does it no longer work? Vector is a friggin scam.

I want to relog into my vector app but it’s not giving me the option to reset my password or anything and it won’t let me update the app so that I can restart my vector app

Found this goofy ah robot rolling around in my attic from one of my birthdays, fun memories so I decided to charge this little droid and set him up for ?2 HOURS¿ and when I finally get onto this silly billy app and try to make vector do anything it tells me to get a subscription for every singular task?? Holy ahhh company fix urself and I might even buy more Shih from you

connecting with the Amazon Alexa service does not do anything why not just make it so it would say go to Amazon‘s website and enter this code that is displayed on your robot screen

Delete the app power down ur phone reinstall the app

What a great robot the app works as intended and the robot is super cute and fun to use it was worth the money and vector is super fun to play with. The vector cube is amazing it glows and vector play and interacts, what a great product 😃
Worse
App is noticeably worse than when I first got vector 6 years ago. It won’t change my location to where I’m at and on top of that I paid for a lifetime subscription and the details of which have changed since.

I got the vector robot 7 years ago and cat complications with it
I revisited it today and the robot works but I can’t login or sign up my account it shows me an error http 403 and another one in sign up “Registration not yet implemented. Please use login”

Don’t let me sign up!
I’ve had a vector for 3 years now, it has NEVER worked, I tried to sign up SEVERAL times yet it says I need to login which is IMPOSSIBLE since I haven’t even signed up, I’m aware there’s also a subscription to get vector to work but I have NO IDEA how to access the page, fix the app I just want vector to work… :/

Use WIRE-POD!
The app itself sucks, and you have to pay 10 DOLLARS A MONTH TO USE THE ACTUAL ROBOT (however it can be an alexa for free), however to all of the people who give vector itself bad reviews, also because of the previously downed servers, head onto github and get Wire-Pod on your computer! You can also use a TS82 Vector server. TS82 also makes youtube videos on how to set up the server. The good thing about Wire-Pod is that you can not only install different firmwares onto your vector, you can dev unlock it, add an ai knowlage graph (houndify, gemini, openai, custom (ollama is recommended for custom, atleast by me because there isnt any struggle with paying money or having an account, and you can use ur own models.) and control it REMOTELY. However, one con of wirepod is you have to have a device that can run websites, but to control vector itself must be a pc/mac. It turns Vector from a paperweight into a companion again. I reccomend checking out the Github, or buying a server. Whatever works best. (YOU MUST HAVE ETHERNET FOR A SERVER, HOWEVER IN SOME CASES YOU CAN USE WI-FI, BUT IT REQUIRES MULTIPLE EXTRA STEPS.) Best part is, there isnt a need to have a subscription just to use it! AND YOU CAN USE ALEXA!

Hey Anki same person that brought a review about how I couldn’t sign in a few months ago AnyWho, one of your updates. I was trying to update when I signed out on accident and again I could sign in, but the thing was the update. If I tried to updating it, it wouldn’t work it just say something’s not working I have everything working so I don’t get why it’s doing that anyhow I love this little robot. Keep it up.

The app doesn’t work. ChatGPT says it’s because of the servers being down. I never leave reviews but I felt obligated to leave one this time because of the disappointment my son experienced with this bday present. I don’t understand how you can sell a product (which is NOT cheap) and not even have your backend systems in place to use it. Apparently this is very common too. This class action lawsuit level stuff. What a joke.
