A REBUILT MUHURAT SCREEN The Muhurat screen now leads with what to do about today, rather than listing what today is made of. • Right Now — the window you are in, whether to use it or avoid it, and how much of it is left • Next clear window — when this moment is not a good one, it tells you when the next one starts instead of leaving you to hunt for it • Avoid today — Rahu Kaal, Gulika Kaal and Yamaganda as exact windows with live countdowns • The Day — all of today's windows as a single colour-coded band, with a marker showing where you are in it • Planetary hour (hora) — which planet rules the current hour, which follow, and how long you have • Pancha Pakshi — the five-birds cycle and which bird rules the band you are in • Changes next — when the tithi, nakshatra, yoga and karana each turn over, and what follows them Details open on a tap, so the screen stays readable at a glance. MUHURAT FINDER: 16 EVENT TYPES, A FULL YEAR The finder covered four event types and scanned 90 days. It now covers sixteen, grouped by what you are planning: • Ceremonies — Marriage, Engagement, Naming, Thread Ceremony, Mundan, Annaprashan • Home & Property — Griha Pravesh, Property, Vehicle • Work & Money — Business Opening, Job Joining, Investment • Study, Travel & Health — Education, Foreign Travel, Surgery, Court Each one now tells you what it actually scans for, in classical terms. It also searches further. If nothing qualifies in the next 90 days it widens to a full year automatically. This matters most for Marriage and Griha Pravesh, where a barren stretch is normal and the next real date often sits just past the old cut-off. And if a whole year is genuinely empty, it shows the closest alternatives with the rule each one breaks, rather than an empty result. ACCURACY • Windows falling inside Rahu Kaal, Gulika Kaal or Yamaganda are no longer shown as auspicious. Because each of those periods spans more than one muhurta, several windows a day were previously marked favourable while sitting inside one. • Abhijit is marked as contested rather than settled when it falls inside Yamaganda — you see both facts and decide. • The planetary hour is now anchored to true local sunrise. It could previously sit several hours out of position depending on your timezone. • Tithi, karana and yoga now say when they end and what follows. Only the nakshatra did before, and the tithi is what most fasts and festivals are keyed to. • Prashna period dates no longer display a day early in timezones west of UTC. RELIABILITY • A dropped connection no longer tells you that you have no birth chart. • The period strip on Home can be brought back after dismissing it, from Profile → Appearance. • Tapping the daily reminder now opens the day it is telling you about. • Long place names no longer overrun the location label.
