Good app for second tier quality drones
Ive bought, flown, owned and crashed or intentionally smashed many drones. Theres a boatload of bad drones out there, and a few companies owning 99% of the premium drones. This is a good app for good drones, not excellent. Most functions work well, no premium modes or shooting styles but if i need those i have other drones i would fly for those options. For me my v11 is mostly just for the fun of flying and the app works great for that. If im after photography im grabbing my air3 not my v11 so theres not a comparison to be made. Fun drone to fly just for the fun of flying it and the app compliments it well

Decent enough controller app
While there’s a few aspects of it I’m not entirely satisfied with, most are more advanced features. Overall the app has been responsive and usable to basic flying. The only functionality I can’t seem to make work is the circling tool, the drone just flies off into nowhere land.
My main gripe is videos don’t export metadata, either embedded or via CSV, at least as far as I’ve been able to tell, which makes third-party overlays much harder to add. The GPS flight plan editor could also use work, such as saving or loading flight plans (ideally being able to import them from standard containers), being able to set the camera angles at each point, how long it waits there, the altitude to be at, etc.
