Vela 1.0.5 Release Notes Thanks for waiting! After a month of tinkering, Vela 1.0.5 is finally on the table—this time, it’s not a teaser. It’s really here! This update gives scheduling, project execution, barter settlement, and trip planning a good cleanup. We also refreshed Dynamic Island, weather, and multi-device viewing. Less “Which day was that again?” and more “Yep, it’s all planned.” Highlights • Project progress is finally on duty. Standard projects now advance automatically through execution, payment, rebate, and settlement stages. The progress bar moves on its own—but you still need to confirm the project. • Barter projects now have their own settlement flow, tracked independently instead of being sent to work overtime in the standard payment and rebate process. • Trip Assistant is here. Switch between multiple projects on the same day, check weather and routes, view timelines, navigate, add calendar events, and share your trip plans. • Execution statuses now form a complete loop, covering pending, in progress, awaiting confirmation, completed, undated, and cancelled projects. • Schedule and Ledger now support swipe-to-change-month and quick year/month selection. No more accidental time travel at the end of the month. • Five-digit user IDs are here. New accounts receive one automatically, while existing users get theirs the first time they open Vela 1.0.5. Every account finally has its own little name badge. • Dynamic Island and Live Activities have been refreshed with a cleaner Vela style, making project times, weather, temperatures, and travel suggestions easier to understand at a glance. Experience Improvements • Unified on-device and server storage rules, with improved schedule widgets, revenue widgets, and Apple Watch data viewing. • Improved Add Record, editing, smart paste, attachments, and batch handling for items awaiting confirmation. Fewer repeated taps, fewer things to fill in twice. • Improved weather caching, day/night effects, Dark Mode, iPhone landscape layouts, and iPad support. • Refined Face ID, privacy confirmation, accessibility, Excel export, schedule reminders, and receivable reminders. Bug Fixes • Fixed month switching on the 29th, 30th, and 31st, as well as selected months resetting after switching views. The calendar should no longer take you to “the month after next.” • Fixed calendar statistics and status markers disappearing when executed items were hidden. Hiding the list no longer hides the entire month. • Fixed unclear actions for items awaiting confirmation, stale status overwrites, and cancelled projects being included in financial statistics. • Fixed accidental uploads in on-device mode, inaccurate backup-restore messages, and issues with layouts, exports, widgets, and Apple Watch displays.
