What's New in Velani 3.3.0 This release is our biggest update yet. Velani opens on your family Hub, adds a full Notes experience, home screen widgets, smarter household roles, and a refreshed calendar and tasks flow. THE HUB Profile is now Hub, your family home base and the first tab when you open the app. See each member's day at a glance with Events, Tasks, and Notes counts. Quick actions let you add an Event, Task, or Note for the focused member in one tap. Browse the member carousel, jump into full lists with See All, and open settings from one place. Your photo now appears on the Hub tab in the tab bar. NOTES Introducing Notes, a dedicated place for everything your family needs to remember. Save pediatrician numbers, packing lists, babysitter instructions, school info, and more. Create, edit, pin, and delete notes. Tag family members, choose public or private visibility, and filter by member. Read and edit on a calm full screen canvas with auto save. Switch between list and grid view. Get notified when someone tags you, with a tap to open the note. Notes is included with your Velani premium subscription and free trial. HOUSEHOLD ROLES AND PERMISSIONS Invite extended family with the Other role and a clear relationship label such as Grandmother, Uncle, or Aunt. When someone joins, their role and relationship show clearly in the household. Choose an access level when you invite or edit someone: Full Access, Member, or View Only. Parents and extended family can have tailored permissions so the right people can view or help manage the household. HOME SCREEN WIDGETS Add Velani to your Home Screen to see upcoming family events at a glance. Widgets use real calendar data, member photos, and compact event cards that match the app in light and dark mode. Personal events show as Busy on the widget to protect privacy. CALENDAR AND EVENTS Calendar now opens in Week view so the week ahead is visible immediately. Event rows are compact and tap to expand for full details. Events support checklists for packing, errands, and to bring lists, with progress on expanded cards. The member calendar header is tighter so more events fit on screen. Event detail has a cleaner reading layout with schedule, category, and description. TASKS Tasks have a redesigned composer and focus view for faster editing. Collapsible task cards show checklist progress at a glance. Assign tasks to family members and they receive a notification. Checklist edits are grouped into a single update notification instead of one ping per line item. Confirm before discarding unsaved changes when you leave the composer. NOTIFICATIONS Tap the bell on Hub for a full in app notification feed of family activity. Control push and in app alerts separately in Settings. Turn notifications on or off for tasks, notes, events, reminders, and Thread. The app icon badge stays in sync with unread items in Hub. LOOK AND FEEL Dark mode and liquid glass polish across cards, toolbars, Hub pills, and the paywall. Scroll collapsing titles on Calendar, Tasks, and Notes. Pull to refresh on Hub, Calendar, Tasks, and Notes. Faster screens when composing tasks, notes, and posts. Smoother tab bar when profile photos update.
