New look A new app icon. The tab bar now floats as a frosted glass bar, and the highlight follows your finger when you slide across it. Today shows what the day is — a public holiday, or an observance — in the corner of the date card. Faster Dictation sends your recording the moment you let go of the button, and shows where it is: sending, then transcribing. Khmer is now the default dictation language, which is quicker and more accurate for short notes. English and automatic are still there in Settings. Today, Plans and start-up are all quicker, especially with a lot of items. Fixed Repeating events set up more than about two years ago had stopped appearing on the calendar, and their reminders had stopped being scheduled. They are back. Calendar files (.ics) with times in UTC were imported at the wrong hour. Official calendar corrections could be skipped and never shown. Reminders beyond the number the phone allows were silently never set. The nearest ones are now kept. Plans listed events that had already finished as upcoming. Protected family records now open reliably with Face ID.
