The floor is your weapon. Every move rewrites the fight. Vellumwake Pocket is a deterministic, turn-based tactical roguelite played on a living grid. The rune beneath your feet defines your next attack, making every step a choice between position, power, and survival. Collect stars to heal, gather persistent Ink, and unfold the page from a tight 4x4 arena into a sprawling 7x7 battlefield. Each star opens the Forge without stopping the run. Imprint a new rune, upgrade the floor, choose a final mastery, reroll your options, or keep moving while enemies close in. Between runs, return to the Archive. Spend Ink on permanent inscriptions, unlock new weapons and supplies, equip armor and relics, then challenge five increasingly dangerous Volumes. Higher Volumes introduce threats earlier and reward greater risks.
