VelociTracker

Version 2.0 of VelociTracker is our biggest update yet. In this update, we have improved the tracking it self and have added new metrics. There has been a slight design overhaul to the UI so that it is easer to navigate through. We have added new export features so that users can export their routes as they desire. We have also added Weekly tracking and trophies alongside the Stats in the Overview so that users can get a sense of their progress as they track routes. We implemented as well a dedicated track mode for racing enthusiasts. Widgets have also been added to maximise the apps functionality even from the Home Screen, allowing users to start routes and set destinations with one click before even entering the app, as well as showing key weekly stats. Furthermore, we have added a social media section ins our app where users can interact between them and share their routes in our VelociTracker community. This social aspect of the app is completely separate from the tracking; meaning that the offline tracking still works perfectly. This social part of the app has been created using iCloud. This means that no sign in is required, and users can go straight into sharing routes, competing in leagues with their friends and viewing their position in the leaderboards. Finally, we have addressed bugs and mistakes that wouldn't allow the app to open.
